I have absolutely no interest in the Lin Kuei. Though I always enjoyed playing with Sub-Zero more than I ever enjoyed Scorpion.
Kung Lao, Ermac, Kabal, Sub-Zero, and Raiden has always been my Top 5, but since I can't see Ermac fitting in any of the factions and Kabal unlikely to join the main roster to even be apart of the Black Dragon(just my opinion), White Lotus is almost definite.

Just a question: I wonder what will they do if one clan is the minority and the other clan has too many people?

[Example]
Lin Kuei: 35%
Brotherhood of Shadows: 28%
White Lotus: 16%
Black Dragon: 11%
Special Forces: 10%

You're misinformed.

A magazine article came out with the explanation that there will be an online meta-game pretty much, where you join one of the 5 clans NRS has made available to you, and the more stuff you do in the game, the more points your clan gets.

I find the whole Johnny Sins username and your attitude hysterical and comical my dude, but it looks like you're getting on a lot of people's bad side real quick. Just some friendly pointing out before the rest of the forum finds you unbearable.

As for me, I'm joining the White Lotus. I would like to join Lin Kuei but it's going to be jam packed.

Alright, I'll tone it down, buddy. They have you to thank for calming me. Showed me the way of peace.

As for me though, I'm on that Black Dragon like dem hoez...

kadell: I'm sure NRS will have a way to balance out the system for the Meta-Game. I have the slightest clue how, but a problem like a mass amount of people populating just one of the 5 factions is just too obvious for NRS to not be aware of. I'm optimistic that they have it all figured out.
I just hope its a fair solution.

What are you even talking about? NRS themselves are the ones who picked these factions.

Plus...
Spoiler:
-Shirai Ryu have been massacred. Twice.
-The Red Dragon are getting their asses kicked.
-Tekunin isn't even in this timeline.

You should be castrated for your lack of MK knowledge

Calm down, bro. Shirai Ryu are back as an army of disciplined orphan warriors. RD are a big part of this game's storyline.

JohnnySins: You just contradicted the peace you tried to stand for after saying "I'm on that Black Dragon like dem hoez...". LOL

I'm newer than you are, and even I know you're off to a bad start. If you're just being yourself though, I can respect that.

Black Dragon would have my eyes if Kabal was still around. Since hes most likely not going to be around(just speculation), they're not even in my consideration.

Shirai Ryu have been slaughtered for the second time now.

Red Dragon are part of the comic book storyline. Seeing how they aren't part of the factions, it's obvious they'll die off before MKX even begins.

And i'm chill as a cucumber, man.
Maybe you should take your own advice and "calm down". You won't last long with that attitude.

I like the cucumber reference.

The Shirai Ryu faction likely isn't in because

Spoiler:
Forrest Fox killed them all off in the MKX comic.
The only ones that are left are Scorpion and Takeda, and Takeda may even join Johnny Cage's Special Forces unit in MKX, per the casting call on the front page of this website.

I'm not sure, but it's probably more about who wins for that clan online, for that day.
If 35% join the Lin Kuei, but only 5% are actually doing good and winning matches online, then maybe it will balance out that way.
Maybe the 16% who join White Lotus or the 11% that join the Black Dragon will win more matches online for that day, and the menus reflect that.
Ed made it sound like this will be something that changes on a daily basis with it being a "constant online mode," so even if people from that 10% Special Forces (in your example) wins the majority of the matches online, for that day, it could still have a chance of reflecting that in the menus for that day.

That's just what I think, though.

Special Forces

Because I like comics, cartoons, and anime, also I don't want to deal with a fedual Japan level of technology

Black Dragons have the knives !

Hmmm interesting, let me see.
champions that accomplish their goals or fodder that can have a knife if they want...

If I can be serious for a minute, I'm kind of surprised that there are so little votes for black dragon... where are all these so called Tremor fans let alone Kano fans? :/

Depends on the final roster.

I'm big on MKX Kano, so if Kabal is also in, or if NRS creates a new supremely-cool Black Dragon character, I'm definitely going with the Earthrealm criminal group.

Special Forces can get my attention if Kenshi is in it, and if they have a cool presence in the story.

If none of these apply, I'll go with Lin Kuei, because Sub-Zero is my favorite.

I'm not big on White Lotus or Brotherhood of Shadow. At all.

Same with me pretty much, if Kabal is in and goes back to black dragon then i will join them.
If Johnny is in and I can play as well with him as the last game (best character) then it will be special forces.
other than that it'll be brotherhood of shadow, maybe Havik comes and joins up, i want him back.

Tremor was part of the Lin Kuei before he joined the Black Dragon. :)

John Tobias on the origin of Tremor:

"I do remember having big plans for Tremor, but when I conceived him, he wasn't a member of the Black Dragon. He was a Lin Kuei hired as muscle by a mad man who was trying to open a gateway between Earth and Outworld."
