Character Select Screen

I'm playing The Joker nonstop. I have to revise my previous entry in the "which characters you'll play first" thread. Joker all the way man, that's the TRUE Joker right there *****es!
 
Ive said in previous threads that because of TDK, The Joker's popularity has skyrocketed and if hes somewhat decent in this game, it will only increase that popularity.
 
Well they've got to nail is movements. He's gotta be really unique and not just strike a generic fighting pose like everybody else. I want him to use his cane and move in really wierd ways. The Joker has always been depicted as very agile. That's consistent. So he needs to move in wierd ways.

I know so.

He will be too powerful, and all the little ****s at the Midway forums, not to mention all the teenage kids who will be the casual players on this will abuse the usage of Superman.

I'd bet all of they're lunch money on it too.

Its just like in UMK3 on XBL. U.Sub is by far the most used character by your average playes.
 
Most newcomers and average people who play fighting games tend to go for the characters they know best. I played MK:A with a friend the other day who isn't a major fighting game player and in about 5 fights, he used Sub-Zero twice and Scorpion twice. People like to be well known and famous characters because they assume they'll be good so I suspect Batman and Superman will be the most well played characters. Sure the Joker is popular and getting a lot of press right now, but everybody loves Batman! ;)
