Is it only me or the trailer basically says that Jax will be brought back to life in Story Mode before Kitana and Kung Lao? He fights revenant versions of both.

Seeing as how he fathered a child at around the same time Cassie was conceived or born, I'm convinced that Jax is among the first to be restored. Zombies are sterile for obvious reasons.

I actually like them I like how they portrayed Jax as a more silent but a bit of a wise guy, kind of like the anti hero to Johnny cage, and Jacquie is the more silent type I can tell without no humor it's a good mix. I just hope she has a kickboxing move set as someone posted before similar to how Erron Black in one move set has the rifle and no handguns, she should have one move set where she doesn't have the arms like her dad, and is fast and agile hence the kickboxing. I was surprised in a positive manner wasn't sure about jacquie or jax, but glad to see they tweaked them in a positive way. Jacquie to me at least from that video is the mirror opposite of Cassie, where Cassie is the smooth talking, joker, Jacquie is the quite analysis type.

Sektor, at best, probably gets a "Raiden vision" type of cameo.
Some 'bring you up to speed' shit. Ridiculously disappointed considering I thought he was guaranteed to be in this game, but I've gotten over it. Mostly.
I'm hoping NRS doesn't completely burn his bridge. Just go with the old timeline route and have Sub-Zero exile him. Cast him off so he can create the Tekunin, and maybe show up in MK11.
hes kinda gotten the shaft compared to cyrax. Before mk9, sektor was only in mk3, umk3, trilogy, mk gold as a secret, and Armageddon. He wasnt even a cameo in deception.

I'm not a Sub-Zero fan in the slightest, but the inclusion of Sektor, when the battle over Lin Kuei could've been the most interesting thing Sub-Zero has done in over a decade, is odd. Both Cyrax and Sektor are very popular MK characters and are unique within the franchise, and the cyber initiative was a significant storyline in MK9, so I can't think of a legitimate reason why they'd rob Sub-Zero, the likely the second most popular character ever, of this storyline. If they were short for space, since Cyrax is essentially a lackey role, give him an NPC role in the story mode and just make Sektor playable. Not to mention design wise, there is so much they could've done to Sektor.
I get characters like Rain and Reiko, possibly even Fujin being excluded. Yes, I agree they deserve the attention, but storyline or gameplay wise (Fujin, Reiko, Tanya), NRS would has to start from scratch. The argument that Reiko has a storyline in the comic really doesn't mean much since the comic wants to sell and therefore, it needs its own antagonist and storyline, so the writers focused on Reiko/Havik since they were already being excluded from MKX. NRS already has a well-developed, interesting storyline with Sektor, so this is something completely different :/

So I found myself watching the Briggs Family Trailer...again
And at the :20 sec mark (After Jax is fighting Kano & Approached by Kung Lao) You see a woman VERY VERY QUICKLY in the background and if you pause it just right/in time, you see the woman has on a similar costume as Sareena AND you can see a white streak in her hair.

I noticed that she looked like she was helping the SF as well! I hope she sticks with her story and betraying Quan Chi and goes and helps Kuai Liang at the Lin Kuei and maybe even possibly become lovers. Scorpion and Sub Zero are the faces of MK, I don't really see them being killed off anytime soon. It would be nice to actually see Sub Zero have a child and raise him up to become a defender of the realm!
