Briggs Family Trailer

I absolutely LOVE The Briggs family! Jax looks and sounds great! I dont understand the Jacqui hate? We literally have no Idea what she plays like and people are writing her off. Im a heavy Lore person and I think its great that this new MK is giving us life after the tournament. It makes the characters feel almost human and it upsets me that people dont want Jax to have a life. This trailer seems to be story and lore driven and not focused on gameplay which was nice for me.

If it's the bit I am thinking of, someone suggested it's probably Revenant Kung Lao without his hat (which are, IIRC, removed during X-Ray moves).

1. I don't like female fighters by default. They have to be really special to catch my attention. Jacqui doesn't look "really special" at all.
2. I don't like regular human characters in MK. They have to have either huge story relevance (Sonya is one of the leaders of SF) or a great personality (Cassie got to the "snarky young female" niche first). I don't see Jacqui being more important than Cassie and I don't see her having a unique personality that's completely different from Cassie's... so... yeah. She's SOL.
3. Her aesthetic design is boring. I don't like her face, her outfit is whatever, and her wrist-gear looks awful.
4. Her animations haven't wowed me from the very little we've seen so far. That could still change. But I'm not optimistic.

Hope that explains how some of us can have a strong opinion already.

Nope, because he's not double-crossing anyone. He just got the Black Dragon to help him do something for Kotal, he didn't betray Kotal for them. And Kotal knows he has ties to the Black Dragon because he negotiates with them for Kotal. Erron's not any double-agent or defector, he's just an enforcer of Kotal's who's acquaintances with the Black Dragon.

Sektor lived on and became the grandmaster of the Lin Kuei.
No word on where he is now, but all signs point to Sub-Zero killing him, or at the very least exiling him in the comic.

Yup. We most likely will see a cutscene in the Story Mode or see it in the comic how Kuai Liang took position of Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei. If not, maybe it just be mentioned in his bio how he overthrew Sektor.

i think that was just in his own ending, which was non-canon.
the last you see of him and cyrax in MK9 is when they're fighting nightwolf and all of the good guys at the end before Sindel went HAM on everyone. it never said if they lived or died though.

Yup, dking's avatar in a full pic is Torr grabbing Ferra's arms and doing her from behind. However, posting a link would break the rules, as it would lead to pornographic imagery. It's on Tumblr though.

Yeah, I'm not a Sektor fan or anything but I was looking forward to his final fight with Sub-Zero. Having that fight outside of a main game is weak IMO.
