His lack of emotions (See RE4 and Degeneration) and his ability to do anything (see Degeneration, though I am fully aware of Chris punching a boulder into lava in RE5, but I can believe that before Leon holding on to a ledge with one hand and in his other hand a woman and a 1000 pound G-Monster). Kill him off. We're better off. Just my opinion.

i'll be fine either way regardless it wont change my feelings on RE4 to me it will still be the best Resident Evil game i've played.

Any RE game that includes Leon is the best!
 
leon is my favorite re character as well. i feel like leon is like THE re character (yes there is a few more). if they killed off leon it would kinda be like if scorpion or sub zero were to get killed off in an mk game. it wont happen. leon is a much more interesting character than chris.

i actually think that 2 or 3 re games down the road that they will come up with some idea and make it so wesker survived.

I hope you're right. The producer said that there is no way he could survive that blow though. He ate two missiles while he was trapped in the lava... they better not come up with a dumb excuse if they decide to bring him back.
 
but i dont think he died... cuz the new game takes place in raccoon city, and thats way way before the incident on RE4.... so he will survive somehow

Yea It Takes Place In RE2 or 3 But I Hope HUNK Gets Out

I am certainly looking forward to it. As fantastic a game Resident Evil 4 is, I saw it as the beginning of the decline for the Resident Evil franchise. As much as the series needed a major update, I was very against the idea of switching out zombies and transforming Leon into the long lost relative of Stryker. However, Resident Evil 2 is one of my top three games of all time, and I thoroughly enjoyed Leon's story in it. On that note, I will gladly kill Leon for steering my favourite game series down the path without zombies.


On a side note, I'd also like to mention that Leon is my least favourite of the "main 5" Resident Evil characters. Claire and Krauser are my favourites, followed by Chris, then Jill, then Wesker.
