Are the Rumors False?

The 300th Challenge unlock is the new Mortal Kombat web series. And a badge next to your Username online.



It's more likely than a nude skin.
 
Another good reward would be one of the old games in HD with new sprites. From the supposed HD Collection. Even a preview video of that would top a costume.
 
I am very extremely doubting she's even going to be naked. Idk who stated that but it seems highly doubt full considering the M rating doesn't mention nudity of any sort. And you can't hide shit from the ESRB and not get in serious trouble. Unless Ed slipped the guy reviewing it like 20 bucks to make it say partial nudity or something.

So I'm expecting the reward to be some stupid sexual costume of mileena and not be worth it. Saying I beat the 300 tower challenge IS worth it though so of course I'm going to beat it regardless of the prize. The prize only decides how fast I beat it, not IF I'm gonna try. I find it hard to believe this one thing can wreck a huge portion of the game for people.
 
Im pretty sure it was just a place holder, or one of many prizes I seriously doubt that would be the main prize and I doubt she would be completely naked

I'm still going to stand by what I've said before. I think, if the grand prize is costumes, you can do the 300th challenge with every character to get a super awesome costume for each of them.

The only other thing I could think it to be, if it isn't costumes, is 'secret' unlockable characters.
 
No no. You guys have got to think bigger. Costumes and secret characters are not what I think NRS would call "a huge deal". I seriously think it's an HD version of Ultimate MK3 or something. That's something a huge number of fans would want. A lot of people don't give a rat's ass about costumes and shit.

Idk if they'd give that away for free but it would be awesome regardless. I have a hard time believing its just a costume, though. I guess all we can do is speculate and cross our fingers
 
But the prize also has to deal with everybody know you have it when your online and such, costumes for everybody would be very cool but I think there will be unlockables every time you get so far and at the end Im clueless on what it could be costumes, hd mk, I dont know lol but im sure its not mileena or not just mileena

I seriously hope it isn't Mileena. She already looks like a hooker. The last thing we need is a 'costume' of her without any clothes on.

Indeed, I think it would be cool if we got a fatality demonstration like in mk3. It would show all character fatality's, stage fatality's, and any other finishing move in the game. That would be like an hour long gore fest, short lived but still better than naked Mileena imo.

A few people you talk to on the internet doesn't count as the majority of MK players :/

Go look at comments on YouTube in regards to Mileena and you will see that most of them don't bother coming to places like this and are lured by the game for superficial, short pleasures. It's a good reward because it appeases the majority of fans therefore raking in more money for their company and therefore resulting the creations of patches and sequels. Now please tell me how that's a bad thing?

What else could they put in as a reward? They won't use the retro costumes because they want to use them for marketing strategy.

I'm assuming you're ceding your point behind all of your emotional bickering?

Technically they are either joking, or just being really stupid. I'm 17 on here, one of the youngest as far as I know and I say hell no to this costume being the full reward to this challenge tower. I don't see it as being a "good reward" because it does not appease the majority of fans, and lol @ youtube. This is precisely why Mortal Kombat is seen as a joke to other people.

Yeah, that's outta my behind. Probably more like 0%. In order to have full-frontal nudity the game has to be rated AO, as far as I know. Unless ESRB has changed some things. It HAS been a while.

I wouldn't even consider it a possibility, honestly. I tend to agree. A costume is not much of a prize for winning 300 levels of excruciating agony.

On the mortalkombat vs. Ricochetmatt matter... Um, you're both being irrational to some degree? Not that it matters. Anywho.

Challenge Tower is a pretty cool idea. I dig it :)
