Most people know about the prize for beating the 300th challenge. And I just wanted to ask you, do you think the rumors are true? I always thought that the prize was put in intentionally to stir up controversy. But not with us. We're going to buy the game regardless of what the prize is. Ed Boon probably wants to stir up controversy with the news media. He knows that violence does not stir up controversy the way it use to. So he's aiming to stir up controversy through sexuality. And it will do him no good if the Flesh Pit Mileena costume is not in the full game. He probably wanted it secretive enough so that it could slip by the radar a few days after the games release, but not secretive enough so that no one could find it. But there's just as many legit reasons as to why the rumors may be false. So what are your thoughts?
 
Another thread about the flesh pit costume? Come on, man. Let it go.

Chances are there will be more to the reward. I don't think the people at NRS are THAT dumb.
 
MK has always (most of the time) been a series with great unlocks, great secrets, and amazing easter eggs. To think the 300th challenge reward is simply a costume seems kinda silly to me.

How is it dumb? I think it's a fair reward. A job well done, NRS... so therefore, the chances are that it's real.

Considering it's the toughest challenge on the Tower and the long journey it's gonna take to get there, I don't get why you'd think a simple costume is a fair reward or that there's not more to it than that
 
Why wouldn't it be? Everything that's been spoiled has been pretty much confirmed by Hector Sanchez and the game play and leaks merely support this.

There's nothing like delicious, bouncing nudity to appease some guy's wet dream! Oh, and perhaps it will have unique animation game play. Maybe Mileena will use Tarkatan blades instead of sais =)

So you think the final reward is a nude skin for Mileena? Do you even know how idiotic that would be? As A reward, that's fine. But as THE reward? Hell no.

It's a waste of time for those of us who don't like Mileena, don't care about seeing animated titties and recognize how cheap such a reward is.

300 levels of challenges for something that shows a little more skin on a character who is already overly exposed?

You do realize an idea of what the reward should be is entirely subjective?

Flaunting my sexuality? Or maybe it's just part of who I am? There are dozens of men on here who talk about how "hot" a chick is. So don't even feed that ******** to me. That doesn't make one a pervert. But some punk rambling on about animated bouncing titties as some kind of reward for the Challenge Tower (and being serious about it) is ridiculous.

As for the whole "subjective" thing... Yeah. It is. But from their standing point, it would be absolutely FOOLISH to make the big reward some naked chick. They can't just think of the horny teenage boys that will be playing this game. Shit, there are horndogs on here who think it's a stupid idea for "the ultimate reward".

You know why? Cause it IS stupid.

Not really. The majority of fans are "horny teenage boys", therefore it's a good move. NRS can't please everybody, so they're better off appeasing the majority of fans.

These are some messages that MovieBob, you know the guy who's the GameOverthinker. The second message is from when I questioned him about the nude Mileena costume, and he actually thinks it's appropriate for the game. And he's done videos about the sexualization of women in games.
P.S: Yes, these are the REAL messages he sent me on The Escapist. I'm not really sure if there's any other way for me to prove it, because people cannot see the messages in my inbox.

Not going to get involved in a pointless internet argument like above, but heres my opinion:

I think that the leaked Prize of a naked mileena is sadly the "ultimate prize" of beating mission 300. Personally i would prefer a new charcter or unlocking kahn or maybe even a fight againts a hidden character like motaro or shao kahns pet (along with the mileena thing)....

For me, beating mission 300's ultimate prize would be to unlock a mission 301, fight Shinnok with super health and near impossible to beat. When or if you defeat him u unlock him , but he will be like a normall charcter not overpowered like the 1 u fight here.

If this is the prize alone i will be dissonpointed. But we will only know on the day somebody completes it.

What Mortalkombat is saying is actually quite degrading. In his eyes - Most MK fans are horny teenage punks who want to see naked tits bouncing around as a reward.

I know plenty of heterosexuals who facepalmed when they first saw Mileena's design, never mind what they will do/say if the "ultimate reward" is a naked version of her.

To be honest, the only ones who are super excited over this are like... teenagers. Newbies to the MK world. I mean yeah, the idea is neat and as *A* reward, I'm totally down for it. But as the prize for completing 300 challenges? Hell to the no. That is HIGHLY offensive and is a huge ***** slap to all the fans.

It could even be PART of the Challenge Tower prize and I wouldn't care. As long as there is something bigger and better involved.
