Usually, I've been doing a great job just not even caring to respond, but this time I'll do it, I'll cave in. Just. For. You. :-*
Not sure why you need to keep calling me this when the entire site already knows this. They knew that I'm this user before you decided to join after getting banned twice on MKO. So if this is intended as an insult, I really don't know how it's supposed to hurt me. But it's whatever, keep calling me that if it makes you feel better.
And many people have even admitted that some have started to "grow" on them. At least people are giving these characters an actual try unlike people like you. Who, instead of actually giving them a chance, they feel the need to constantly complain about them in ever single thread that they're being mentioned. This game doesn't need to cave to every single person, I get that. But if you're not even going to give this game a try, is there really a point to this complaint? I really don't see one.
People have the right to like and dislike whatever they want to, that's a given and it should be respected. But to those who are automatically assuming that the characters are going to suck, be low tier, be characters that aren't going to be cared as much as the others, then it's laughable. It's laughable because they're making it seem like it's going to be true when it's obviously not. You shouldn't judge what you haven't touched yet. This was literally the reasoning behind my post. If it has bothered people, oh well. At least I got a point across.
But please stop speaking for people, seriously please. Their reasoning for not liking something differs greatly from yours. Them being humans are not a reason I see across these forums, just from you. If you really hate playing as a human character, then play as Reptile.
As far as we know, there's two new from Special Forces: Cassie and Jacqui. Takeda and Kung most likely are just helping them, since clearly they don't look militarized at all.
Then you have Sonya, Jax, Johnny and Kenshi. So that's six. Did anyone complain when we were bombarded with many Edenian characters?
You have: Sindel, Kitana, Mileena, Jade, and Rain all in one game. (Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3) And then, we have another added in the fourth, which is Tanya. So that's six. I don't recall hearing or reading people complaining about how there's too many of something when we have already a bundle of other characters.
But they're all humans, so it bothers you... Whatever that means.
Not sure why this would bother people, I think this was the one thing after E3 that got people extremely curious with the game itself. That we're going to be seeing the children of our beloved characters. Despite that some went a little weird with stories on who should be the next couple to produce a kid, still. If this bothers people, then honestly, stop following the forums then.
Three parents, I'm counting Johnny and Sonya as one, Jax as two, and Kenshi as three. There's three parents in this game. Johnny and Sonya are a given since they were obviously the last heroes left alive at the end of 2011. Killing them off or leaving them alone for this game would be incredibly stupid. I'm glad that they're actually going to show us the passing of the torch with them to Cassie.
Jax, honestly I was surprised to see him but it's really whatever.
Kenshi, after seeing what his son has gone through in the comics, I really want to see the interaction between these two if there is one in the game.
That is your opinion, not everyone else's.
I don't get this part. You were previously complaining that it's a bad thing that there's descendants in this game and here you are giving a character a kid. What is it? Are you upset that there are children in this game or upset that the children that arrive came from characters YOU don't care for?
It's not a problem for people to not like characters. I didn't like Cassie as much as I did with the other new characters, but she has started to grow on me with what we've seen her in previous streams and such. I've seen people who admitted why they don't care for such and such and their reasonings look legit. Some aren't impressed by what they have seen in game play footage, even if it's from footage that poorly shows us stuff. OR, they just downright have not been impressed by them at all. Whether it's Cassie or D'Vorah, Ferra/Torr, whoever, some reasonings are legit. But to sit here and constantly read: "They're gonna be forgotten in the next game," "They're gonna be played the less online," "They're gonna suck in general," then that's just downright dumb. It might sound rude, but really... you should at least give the game a try, and if you really hate it, then trade it in. At least you'll get your money back... or some of it.
And to those who keep saying, "I'm not gonna play as them," we know you will.
Because Icebaby, (it is so hard to see? geez)

And many people dislike the though of descendants, more Special Forces and human characters, and with that being in the game pretty much overbalanced, no wonder people complain about 4 of the 8 new characters.

1) from special forces

2) descendants

3) Still have their parents fighting with them in the game.

That is asking for trouble

and then cut everything about Jacqui and give a evil character a descendant instead.
