Totally agree ! It was not a good idea (go play Def Jam, Boon !)
I think a good alternate for Jax would be the clothe he wears in the "Mortal Kombat Reboot" mini-web movie ! As well as Scorpion, in his jail-house orange suit !

Hahah oh yeah I remember that. I like the part where he's fighting Cyrax, he finally lands a blow that sends Cyrax flying and he goes, "Yeah! Now what?!" with this wack attitude-filled face hahaha.
Johnny Cage fans are the best! ;P we gotta stick together. We're a rare breed haha.

Speaking of Jax, I really hope they don't give him the gangster rap clothes with the bling again. That was unbearable. I've stated before that I would really like to see a Kabal alt without the mask.
Johnny Cage looks like a sexy beast as usual.
Yeah that would be cool to see Kabal unmasked. I would defiantly like to see his fatality where he takes his mask off and scares his opponent to death, redone in HD glory. I have a feeling Kabal is going to look bad ass in this game.

The way that they've been marketing the Pre-Order costumes (Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile, Jade and Mileena), it looks like it's going to be that way.

I want to see more than one alternate per character, if thats not too much to ask, i think it would be awesome seeing the variety of characters when playing the game rather than seeing the same models over and over and over again
You know what they should do? Make it like Tekken 6's customization. They have the standard preset costume, and the alternate, but then you can go in and customize those two with other things you can buy at the shop. The items you buy have something to do with the back story of your characters, and relate to them in some way. It gets rid of seeing the same character with the same costumes over and over again. Plus it adds some variety and an opportunity for creativity. Just a thought, that is one of the things I love about T6.

Yeah, customization is cool in T6, but I think it wouldn't fit MK. I dunno, MK just seems to be more about violence and gore, and the fighters probably don't have a wardrobe with loads of clothes for them to wear whatever they want whenever they want.
I'm thinking we get only one alternate costume on the disc, but probably all the characters will get at least one DLC costume, most of them being a classic one.
I guess your right, but characters like Johnny Cage? Come on now, you know the guys has closets full of different outfits haha. Plus it wouldn't have to be clothes that stray far off from the characters. In Tekken yeah I'll agree they do have some pretty outrageous stuff for some characters, but what about having clothes from every MK game that you can mix and match to customize your character. What I mean is you could divide the character in sections;
-Head Piece
-Upper Body
-Lower Body
-Shoes
Then we could have accessories (belts, weapons, etc.)
You can have Scorpion's Diamond vest from MK1/MK2, with his MK9 Shoulder pads, and MKDA Mask. Making a totally original Scorpion look. Seems like a pretty good idea to me, at least. It'd be pretty cool seeing what different combinations people can come up with.
