alternate DC costumes.

alternate costumes have been a staple for fighing games for years for now.

For MK vs DC, what should the alternates custumes of the superheroes be? Should they be MK-nized versions, or alternate custumes that have appeared in DC comics. E.g Batman's battlearmor, Return of Superman version with the black suit...etc....
 
Dont give me robin in his little red jumper. Ill tell you that much.

I think Batman should get his movie outfit all leather-clad with molded nipples...ok maybe not that last one.
 
The alternate costumes for the DC characters should be... other Mortal Kombat characters.

To give less of an ass response, Batman really should have his more realistic Batman Begins/The Dark Knight costume. That'd probably suit the MK universe a bit better than the classic gray thing.

Robin could always pop in from the corner and say "toasty" when batman does an uppercut. Now that i wouldnt mind seeing. :D
 
I am pretty opposed to the newer batman films, cos in all fairness they bare no resemblance to the source material. So I'm happy we got a grey costume, especially happy it's the Dark Knight (comic, not film) suit, with black cape and no yellow on the logo. I'm guessing his alternate will be the blue cape yellow oval suit, but I'm hoping for Azraels suit.

Well we'll see how the alts go. I'm personally hoping for the movie suit because the newer one just looks really badass. True to the source material or not you can't deny the badassery. Superman should have an interesting alt...maybe that blue energy superman suit? That black one you mentioned sounds cool as well. I've never been a fan of superman tho so I couldn't tell you his various looks over the years. Lobo has a couple of looks in his comics so just pick 2 of them. With all these lists including Lobo, I think Boon should seriously consider him.
 
They've got a couple of DC artists on their side this time round... Whatever it is, it isn't going to be completely awful.
 
What about alter-egos? Batman fihting as Bruce Wayne, Superman as Clark Kent etc. It's be like Sub-Zero being unmasked.
 
Yeah, but fighting as secret identities doesn't seem so wacky when 90% of you want to see them tear eachothers' arms off.
