Are you getting Freddy Krueger?

Freddy died because of fire, has a furnace as a fatality, and his teleport ingulfs him in flames. He's fire themed.

Problem?

I understand what Osmodius is saying, but he is over-exaggerating; there not that many characters that use the lightning element, especially in comparison to those that use fire, for example.

Wasn't exaggerating lol. All I said was "another lightning person". And when 2 other characters already were using it as attacks when he introduced. I mean 3 out of 19 total isn't a lot, but something else could have been done. Especially since Nightwolf had just introduced in MK3. Whether or not Nightwolf's lightning is from the Elder's or whatever, he had enough to be consider a lighting character to me.

I've always sort of thought of nightwolf as a lightning character too, Raiden because he's a god, but Nightwolf being a shaman gives him an excuse.

Plus his green tomahawks look like they have electrical currents flowing through them on his victory pose.

Didn't know you meant it that way.

Also, UncleKabuki, I was generalizing all the characters that used fire in general, I wasn't trying to get into who actually uses fire prominently.

Since Scorpion has 2 fire specials (demon fire and teleport [he involves in flames]), then he has 3 fire enhanceds (hellfire, flame teleport, flame spear), and he has 2 fire combos (fire punch 111, and fire flipkick F214)

It's not a staple move.
I main NightWolf, and the only thing that I EVER use his Lightning move for, is as a trap against special move spammers / Scorpion spear and teleport n00bs.
 
Don't quote me on it. But word is after patch 1.04 coming with Kreuger tomorrow. Comp. Packs are gonna be mandatory. So anyone playin onlines gotta DL them. Jus read it on TRMK's Twitter.

TRMK Patch 1.04 is up for PS3 right now. We hear it requires the Compatibility Packs. Looking to @MK_MortalKombat for patch notes.
