I know, but still why would Boon keep Tobias name if he is not longer there? if I would be Boon, I would keep only my name there if my partner leaves the team.

sounds kinda selfish to me.
Boon isnt just thinking about himself, he kept saibot in there because all the fans remember it and thats his official name. So he's anything but selfish

Well... the name is written as just Noob...
I remember a while back when the game was still in development a guy requested on twitter "Please Boon add the Saibot, to Noob's name in the lifebar" and he said "NO".
He is just Noob since MKD.

like I said, laziness is a common trait they have at NRS, such as dlc character costumes and lack of a few retro characters and a certain centaur boss.
but they still pronounce it with SAIBOT, and thats all that matters I guess.

I dont think is lazyness.
They changed Cyber Sub-Zero's name to "Cyber Sub-Zero" when he was just "Sub-Zero" in the lifebar and char select screen before.

pretty much everything has already been said about freddy now theres nothing left to say.thats why its easy to get off topic.
which is why you see people arguing over which is best sub zero and noob saibot's name
only untill he is released will we start seeing more freddy discussions

To everyone speculating wether or not Noob and Saibot are two people.
Ed Boon actually adressed this the day Noob's reveal trailer dropped.
Here is the tweet-
"RT @only1mjp @noobde Amazing! Why are there two noobs? Noobde: No, no, no.... one is Noob, the other is Saibot."
So there ya go!
Now as far as his name in the life-bar goes. Johnny Cage is just listed as Cage.
Sonya Blade is just listed as Sonya.
It's just that Noob Saibot is too long they just shortened it up.
I really doubt it's laziness. They'd just have to type in a few extra letters.
I think it would be interesting in MK10 to see this happen

Saibot is a way to call his shadow, he's like his siamese twin, Noob put a name to him lol but he's just a shadow.
He always speaks as being a "he", not a "we" like Ermac.

But for JC his lifebar says Cage and the announcer says Johnny Cage.
I think they just abbreviate to what players commonly refer to characters as.
Regardless what does it matter what noobs life bar says? The announcer says saibot so if Boon really had it out for John Tobias then he definitely wouldve just had the announcer say Noob wins. He was Noob in deception because he was partnered with smoke. And not saibot. And if it was just his shadow why would the creator of the game give it a name? Its obviously meant to be a seperate entity.

Freddy Overrated?!
Im not a real fan of the Whole freddy in MK idea... Mainly because i spent 15 bucks on all the DLC characters The first 3 Blew me away, and i was soo Hyped for the 4th then i saw Freddy as the fouth DLC I pissed me off. And People are only going to use him for Who he is rather than what he can do, And from the gameplay i saw he doesnt look all that special Maby its because im pissed from losing 5 bucks.. idk whats your opinion
