I dont see that happening.

Cyber Sub-Zero = Dead ---> revived --> if you revive you do as human, is like a "reborn" = Human Sub-Zero
Noob = Noob

Sub-Zero and Noob for sure, maybe Cyber Sub-Zero as a hidden character or DLC.

He's gonna be a cyborg Fox. They wouldn't just throw away such a sudden character. Like Osmodius said, Human Sub-Zero will probably be like a hidden character or Cyber will be humanized during the story. Hey, anything can happen in MK

What about such idea:

1. Cyber Subby stays Cyber
2. Noob after Soulnado accident splits into two beings: evil Noob and Bi-Han.

You've got Sub-Zero, Cyber Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot in MK10 this way. Everybody's happy.

I would prefer this scenario:

- Sub-Zero's soul gets divided in the Soulnado, and Bi-Han is HUMAN once more.

- Noob Saibot remains a NetherRealm wraith, overthrowing Quan Chi and Shinnok, and becoming the NEW ruler of the NetherRealm.

Cyber-Sub Zero could stay dead for all I care.
He was a f***ing joke character, to begin with.
MK 1 HUMAN Sub-Zero (Bi-Han) is the ONLY Sub-Zero that should live from MK 10 onwards.
F*** Kuai-Liang.

Exactly. Bi Han is the original Sub-Zero.

Come on... he was Sub-Zero for what? 1 game? Kuai Liang was SZ for 8 games...

Bi-Han can be the first Sub-Zero but Kuai Liang is the legit Sub-Zero to me.

Bi Han = Noob
Kuai Liang = Sub-Zero

That's how it should be in MK10, like it always was.

"You are not worthy of the name Sub-Zero."

He's right you know. I just felt that Bi Han is much more epic

Why so much hate for Kuai Liang??
I've always preferred him to Bi-Han, due to the fact that Bi-Han's kind of a dick, and we
have plenty of those characters already. Kuai Liang's a protagonist with some nobility (only Ninja that acts this way),
not some souless Lin Kuei assassin that wants to kill ALL THE TIME, thus sparking the whole escape from the
cyber initiative. I'm sure if Bi-Han were alive during the cyber initiative, he would have gladly done it.
Most likely,
Bi-Han stays the super evil badazz, Noob.
Kuai Liang may somehow turn back to human due to the fans reaction to him changing, but
in the end he's staying Sub Zero.
Face it.

P.S
All my opinions are mainly based on the original MK Timeline, Deadly Alliance I feel is Kuai Liang's best representation (Aside from MK9, although Cyber Sub Sucks).
although 3d era was garbage lol.

Bi han may have been the original, but most games had his brother as Sub, so looks like Young sub takes the win as better Subzero.

besides, Bi han becomes Noob Saibot anyway, he has that to brag about. Way better than being Subzero anyway.

I liked Bi Han because he wasn't bad, but not good either. He was like a more arrogant Cyrax. He pledged to the Lin Kuei. Kuai Lang is all over the place sometimes. He can be good. Kinda neutral. Harassing Liu Kang.

Scorpion: "I will not kill Sub-Zero."
Bi Han: "Will not? Or cannot?"

You know that's badass

Kuai Lang: NO! YOU WILL NOT TAKE ME!! *ROBOT*

Later...

Bi Han/Noob: "Quan Chi has perfected me." "We may share blood, but we are not brothers."
Kuai Lang: WAAAAAH!!! BI HAAAAAAN!!! I WUBED YOOOOOU!!!

Lol I just always saw Bi Han as more badass and unique

And if the story mode didn't favor the good guys so much we all know Noob would have beat Cyber Sub-zero

Bi-Han > Kuai Liang

I love both, but Bi-Han gets the edge simply because of how arrogant and immoral he was; I love the idea of a cold killing machine who goes about his business silently and became corrupted over the years from remorseless killing and thievery. It makes him so much more of a badass. IMO, if a Fire and Ice team-up ever happens, it seems more natural for him and Scorpion to team up instead of Kuai Liang; Kuai Liang doesn't fit the bill of a vigilante/anti-hero type of protagonist.

Kuai Liang is more of a likeable and interesting protagonist than say, Liu Kang or Kung Lao. He is honorable, dependable, enigmatic and has the moral awareness that all great heroes need. His whole redemption story was great in UMK3 onwards, and although I don't like his replacing of Cyber Smoke, Cyber Liang's story may receive a shakeup that it has arguably needed since Deception.

I personally hope they do not stop DLC after Freddy. I think he looks great.

If they were to continue DLC, I'd include stage and fatality packs, though it would take a while. Examples for Freddy being 1428 Elm Stage and The Puppet String death as a fatality. And just more characters in the same formula, new, two return, and guest and packs like I said. That would be awesome. I wish they would include a Robert Englund skin for Freddy. What you guys think?

I think that if Freddy gets and alt and a stage, but the REAL MK DLC's dont (Rain, Skarlet, Kenshi) then NRS is screwing with us.

I'd be happy enough if Rain gets a classic skin, it doesn't have to be a brand new costume.

I hope that Freddy does well, so we can get more DLC.

That's doubtful. For story purposes he will probably stay as a cyborg, especially since he was still one in the the Netherrealm. I mean, if your soul is shown as a cyborg over human, it wouldn't make sense to come back human.

This + turning into cyborg is permanent. Even Cyrax after regaining his soul and joining Special Forces
stayed cyborg. The same with Robo Smoke (watch his MK3 ending).

But Cyrax was always a freaking robot, why would they make him human and noone knew about Smoke till he was a robot, and he was just a gray scorpion as human...

Im sorry, i dont want to be rude but if you think NRS will turn one of their most iconics and beloved characters into a cyborg permanently then you are bit silly. It won't happen.

yeah I agree, and pretty much no one likes Cyber Sub anyway. they have done some dumb stuff to the MK characters over the years, but making him a permanent Robot would be the worst idea they ever thought of. Even worse than jarek

That's exactly what I LOVE about Bi-Han.
He's one of the FEW characters that makes Scorpion look like a b**ch.

It's what I love about my favorite Anti-Heroes, as well (For example Venom and Cobra Commander).
They're just more badass and ruthless.

Agreed.
I hope that if they DO make the MK:Fire and Ice game, that they use Bi-Han instead.
I can't see Kuai-Liang as a vigilante / renegade / anti-hero badass, as I can with Bi-Han.

Lots of people are not so engaged in MK plot so many of them wants only Sub-Zero model in the game - if he's Bi-Han or younger Sub-Zero, it doesn't matter for them. Don't be so naive - crowd demands just 'blue maskman with freezing abilities', so if we gain Cyber Sub-Zero, Noob and Bi Han (S-Z) in MK10, it won't cause removing 'one of their most iconics and beloved characters', famous Sub-Zero will be still there but just in other incarnation.

+rehumanizing younger Subby is hard to be explained reasonably in story

It's just as reasonable as explaining how Cyrax became human at the end of MK: GOLD

Don't forget that this is MK.
Anything can happen.

B-Han's soul could have been split apart from Noob Saibot when he was thrown into the Soulnado.
Similar to how Spiderman took off the Venom suit, but it still knew that he was Peter Parker when it aligned itself to Eddie Brock.

No, in MK Gold Cyrax didn't get rehumanized, Sonya & Jax just 'freed his brain', like it was done by Kabal & Smoke with Cyber-Zero (MK9). Both Cyrax and Sub-Zero stayed cyborgs (I mean - closed in cyber bodies forever) and MK3 Robo Smoke's ending suggested that cyber initiative is an irreversible process. I know MK plot is full of bugs, holes, nonsenses, inconsequences etc. but c'mon, it need to be stopped or (at least) limited.

Some things to consider about the CSZ dilemma -

Along with Scorpion, Sub Zero is now the face of MK. To me, making him permanently cyborg is like making Scorpion permanently cyborg. It's just wrong. Is Cyber SZ a good character? I think so, and I think most fans can agree he's at least well-made. But he's still not the iconic Sub Zero.

Noob is also a huge success in MK9, and I can't imagine him not being brought back in MK10. So out of the three, the character with the least chance of returning is CSZ. IMO he was made primarily because of the huge demand for Human Smoke, and exists to fill the third cyborg slot from the timeline that MK9's based on. He simply isn't needed for MK10. The most likely outcome I can see is Kuai Liang being ressurrected back to human form.

Anyway, NR are in the best position to decide if they want to bring CSZ back or not. Based on his popularity, they can either find a way to include him in MK10, or simply leave him back in MK9. No matter what though, I can't see the next MK game without a human Sub Zero. It'd be a monumental mistake to leave out that one.
