I told you all that the rumored Freddy or Jason had the most likely chance of being this 4th character, but nobody believed me again. LOL, this is Kratos Rage Part 2 on this forum. So funny. I'm definitely getting him, he looks fun to play. We will get more characters after this.

I'm interested in seeing how they tied him in to the MKvers, and what are his motivations? What does Freddy want? Every movie I've seen with Freddy, He just tortures children, there are no children in MK so WTF? Also he has no power in the conscious world. Are the happenings of MK all a dream?
I'm sure its gonna be another boot strap off a another character tie in thing, that's if they even bother explaining his presents there at all.

well, after the Bang Bang clown fatality for Shang Tsung, I think , in some way, we saw this shit coming , and so, we have to deal with , lol !

NRS sure will continue to invest in DLC, but mixing with funny and nonsense stuff like this, so, I think we have no alternative but get used with this kind of random prank shit that will come next, haha LOL !! XD

Damn.... damn... I wish i wake up tomorrow and this was my nightmare. Damn..... i'll wake up tomorrow and see Tanya as DLC. Or Reiko. Fujin. Shinok. Anyone kombatish... damn, this makes me hate NRS. I want John Tobias back together with MK HD Kollection, damn these DLCs to hell. *Slowly goes insane*.

Im probably one of the biggest freddy fans you will ever meet. I have figures worth $300 of freddy. Ive met robert englund twice (the original and real freddy) . Guess what im a big MK fan aswell, otherwise i wouldnt be on these forums. But this had ANGERED me.

Freddy doesnt belong is this game, hes a dream demon. Are the NRS trying to make this game a joke? Personally im not a Kratos fan , but i didnt mind him being in the game. It wasnt stupid and he kinda fits in well. But freddy and MK dont work.

I dont even like how he has been designed. Why the hell does he have 2 gloves? Also they have gone for the jacky version of freddy and not roberts version. Search freddy on google and all u see is people ranting at how stupid freddy looked in the remake. I think the biggest issue for me is he has 2 gloves, he looks so wrong.

Im a sucker and will buy him anyways.. probably get good with him. But OMG this is a bad move. Gimmi reiko instead please?

I'd like to say two things:

First: You people complaining about us complaining about Freddy are also whinning. You're no better than us. You're whining about whinners, so cut the crap.

Second: I bought MK9 when it was released here in Brazil for 200 Reais, which is about 110 US Dollars and I have to buy PSN credit cards on eBay to get DLCs. I've spent a LOT in this game, as you can see, and I have to deal with crappy online (hard to connect to KOTH matches, disconnects...) and stupid people who are just rude or spammers online, so give me a break and don't judge me! If I have spent so much and endure all this ********, grow some balls and deal with people not getting the DLC. Everyone is selfish. EVERYONE. (Some more, others less.)

I am utterly opposed to Freddy being included in this game.

IMO what NetherRealm should do is start a new fighting franchise so they can shoehorn all these bad idea's and gimmicks into some other title than MK. Give the people what they want, even if it is Batman Vs. Freddy Vs Buggs Bunny, just don't do it with MK.

They need to stop defecating in the garden they created, even if some will pay to watch said defecation.

You forgot Scorpion, Mileena, Shang, Baraka, Jax, Sonya, Sub-Zero, Cyber Sub, Sektor, Cyrax, Kitana, Jade, Sindel, Quan Chi, Nightwolf, Noob, Sheeva, Rain, Kenshi, Skarlet, Stryker, Reptile, Kabal, Johnny, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Raiden, and Kano.
What makes you think Freddy won't be over-powered?

Just spend 5 mins to test Freddy out before ditching him.

The movie is not even good, it sucks (the new remake I mean, the one this Freddy is based), at least Kratos comes from a succesfull videogame.

You have got to be kidding me? Mandatory download for Freddy? I'm sorry but suggesting such a controversial character be a mandatory download is a crock of bull. Some people are excited for his release and that's cool. Good for them. Let them have Freddy, I'm not bashing them if that's what they like. To each his own, I say. But there are some people who have been with MK since the beginning and wouldn't feel right having a guest character. (see Kratos) Mandatory download would kill the already-established fanbase.

So how will not supporting the non-MK character affect this when the other three are still selling? Is NRS really going to sit there and say "well we were going to release more, the first three made us 2 million in profit but the last one tanked so we canned the idea"?

I'm kind of bugged that a movie studio which could actually capture an HD Mortal Kombat scrapped that project but allowed a character from one of their films into MK9.
