Something i cant really comprehend is why there would be so much secrecy surrounding this character if in fact it ends up being a regular MK character (reiko, fujin, etc). Why would they make it so mysterious for a character that isnt even so shocking?
If it DOES end up being an MK character, then this "Mystery DLC" is just one big marketing ploy to get people hyped and for them to buy the Season Pass.

If its a new/guest character, then the secrecy makes more sense in my opinion.

But... who knows

It's cyber smoke it just has to be.. UMK3 is an undeniable classic and much beloved in the mk community. Cyber smoke rounds out the final missing character from the 1st 3. Besides hornbuckle, who I'd rather see before reiko, fujin, Tanya, tremor, and shinnok.

A 4th cyborg would be sweet. We could get cyborg smoke and subzero classic costumes with the pack.. Makes sense.

I'm excited now. I get the teleuppercut grapple hook combo finally .

And blowing up the earth fatality!

The sole reason is so they can disappoint 90% of the total MK fanbase no matter what they do... because they're trolls.

Its a new char, NRS is smart they wont make as hype like this for Tanya, Fujin or Reiko, characters that have fans but they are just a minrity, 90% of the people maybe more will piss off if NRS do this, and they are aware of this. So Im sure, im saying this since the day the anounced a mistery character, is going to be a new character.

To be fair, they probably had the Characters picked out BEFORE the game came out, and even if they didn't, there was enough of an uproar over Kratos being on the PS3 and Xbox getting nothing....

Not to mention the Fourth is Free for the Xbox. I wouldn't say an Exclusive guest is OUT of the picture. Unlikely yes, but not out completely.

Oh Im sure they did have them in advance as it probably takes a little while to make a completely new character. But I do agree there could possibly be a chance that there is a guest, a MINOR chance that I dont see happening, but it could.

Well you cant gurantee that it is Cyber Smoke because from what Ive heard its going to be an alternate for Smoke. But you do have to take into consideration IF it is an alternate for Smoke then it could be the fourth compatibility. Also dont count on his klassic blowing up the world fatality, a lot of klassics dont have a fatality.

But keep in mind that IF Cyber Smoke is a character now its competing up against Shinnok, Fujin, A fan base behind Tanya (which I dont support) and a fanbase behind Reiko, even though Cyber Smoke fan base beats both. But that tournament is July 21st so youll find out then.

Cyrax and Sektor are cyborgs by default and their alternates don't change their moves. Cyber-Smoke and CSZ are different from their human counter-parts, so I don't think CS will just be an alternate outfit. MAYBE, but I doubt it, plus I want a Smoke/Scorpion/Sektor hybrid.

Well they will either give us MK3 Cyber Smoke or a newly designed Cyber Smoke, dont expect a re-design. Think of what they did with Sektor and Cyrax, They look nothing alike and are their own characters. But if Cyber Smoke is in the game he will have to have some moves added and some different animations ETC..

And on your side note I think I did press the edit, I was replying to a different post, it just happened to show my replies twice in a row, aleast on my screen.

Yea I just hope it is a new outfit and not a palate swap at this point it's all I have to look forward If he gets an MK3 outfit I will be extremely dissapointed but I will still use it since I have always preferred Smoke as a cyborg.

He was a green palate swap of Liu Kang fighting an on fire palate swap of Liu Kang (Blaze) in the background of the pit 2 in MK2

I noticed u said "this" 1..it's the same as the 1st one tho...I thought it was different at 1st too,until I went an looked at the other 1 again...their the same.
