<b>GameTrailers</b> sat down with <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_vs_dc_universe/">Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe</a> Creative Director, <b>Ed Boon</b>, at <b>E3 2008</b>. <b>Boon</b> showed off many of the game's signature features including, <b>Klose Kombat</b>, <b>Freefall Kombat</b>, <b>Test Your Might</b>, <b>Fatalities</b> and <b>Brutalities</b>. Also, <b>Boon</b> reiterates an emphasis on juggle-style freeform combos are being touted in this release aside from "pre-programmed</b> combos of games past. The gameplay mechanics, such as jumping and ducking projectiles, are closely tied to the 2D plane.
