If your XBOX 360 red-ring'd, fix it yourself. It's an easy fix. Grab a lot of towels and blankets, wrap them around your XBOX 360 VERY tightly, turn on your xbox 360 and let it get very very warm. It doesn't hurt it, it'll re-melt the soldering that caused the red ring and it'll temporarily fix it. Eventually you may red ring again but if you do, rinse and repeat. You'll have to let it sit for awhile when you do this, about an hour or so. But it'll fix your issue, and then you can at least trade it in to GameStop (when they do the check, it'll work and turn on and look normal, then you can trade it in towards a new model that does not red ring. I know, I used to be a District Manager for GameStop about a year ago, lol. Works like a charm!)
