Same here.
While I don't care for guests, though, it's just my 2 cents on who I think would be possible.
Pennywise and Michael Myers could be in as DLC, but it just seems odd (IMO) when there are 2 MK characters that fill those roles.
That's just me, though.
I also hope that we get some cool MK DLC characters.
If MKX is anything to go by we'll get more 3D era characters via DLC, and with my luck none of those will be Fujin. lol

I'm surprised no DLC leaks have shown up yet. I remember when Predator was leaked back in Febuary 2015 with info of Carl Weathers being a skin for Jax.

Same i will not buy guest characters. In Noob saibot's pic we see there is like 30 masks and 50 weapons and 50 shadows. I think this is too much and unnecessary. Like there should be like 20 gear pieces and use the time and resources for more characters maybe?

The only guest character I ever bought was Freddy (I have PS, so Kratos was already in).
But there was a good reason: he was making Kenshi, Rain and Skarlet cheaper.
So...
I actually bought Kenshi, Rain and Skarlet seperate to make my own statement against guests. I know NRS won't care or even notice but hey....

It amazes me that anyone has taken that at face value - it's from a very early build and seems blindingly obvious that no character is going to have 50 of anything.
I suppose this is an issue with leaks... people read too much into things which are obviously unfinished and not intended to be viewed by the public.

I did that with both MK9 and MKX as I also didn't care for them, but I agree, it's the equivalent of pissing in an ocean when it comes to guests.
I did the same thing for MK11.
Just pre-ordered the regular version of the game, and I'll get the skins and characters that I want separately. I don't feel like rewarding NRS with a Premium Edition purchase when that KP includes guests.

I think it's about time they make the six Elder Gods playable. MK9 showed them, MKX had their faces on Sky Temple, statues, stone carvings, they returned in Quan Chi's ending.

Fujin and Raiden are not Elder Gods, and we don't know about Cetrion.
Shinnok is a former Elder God - he was banished.

I will split my response in separata parts, so maybe you guys can finally stop with this ridiculous profiling
1. Sad? I was sad, when it was lazily announced that KP2 won't come for MKX on PC, which meant that no future support was also coming for PC. I did feel sad, back then. Getting shit thrown in my face, in exchange for my money and my loyalty.
To be honest I rarely feel sad at all. Gotta be something really special. 90% of the time I feel is anger. But in this case, I am feeling indifferent about MK11. Except that recent one I used to vent about how stagnant MK became.
2. Yes. Let's leave the reasons to be mad, and find nothing remaining.
3. Guys... sigh. What is this obsession with Frost now? I like her, yeah. And? One character doesn't make entire game for me. Unless the game is so boring that I can only look forward to one thing.
4. The reason I assume is that since, MK11 reveal, I have been bombarded by insider info. Ironic, really. When MKX was revealed, I dug for any kind of info I could find. I would spend hours in Reddit or other places trying to find leaks or contact someone. Now? I couldn't care less about entire roster, but like on purpose I got my eyes on rumours and leaks, that made sense (I am not talking those fake full roster leaks, but chips of info that I connected over period of time)
Since official reveal I got some whispers stating, that Frost got a full revamp. Then there were new mentions about "Ice Construct" Frost, then later on I got even more specific info from other places that she is having cybernetic implants/is fully Cyborg.
Once I shut off my brain and stopped expecting some deep story with deep lore and whatever, and just started looking at this as another inconsistent cheap Hollywood style junk story, I saw how predictable it is. Hence why I managed to guess Kronika's role in the story. And so far nothing has surprised me. So I realized that Frost being Cyborg isn't so far fetched. They already made her generic in MKX, so I knew that in MK11, she will definitely be evil and if Kittelsen is part of story, then it is very likely that Frost will see Cassie as her rival and will want to get revenge. And she will be once again a one dimensional power hungry villain, which made me do a prophecy. She will be working with Kronika, in exchange for more power.
But I thought... Just wait and see. No way they would BE this generic. THEN got the final tip. Which meantioned that Frost actually got a full revamp and she got made into a Cyborg by Kronika. ONCE AGAIN. I said. Eh. Just wait and see.
So I had multiple sources claiming same thing, since the reveal. And then finally came out Roster leak pic. So at this point... I would have to be seriously f%cking stupid, to claim that NO NO NO. She is deifnitely not a Cyborg.
NRS got a fetish on bald females. She shares this look with Kronika. Both Kronika and Geras look like high tech robots. So seeing you guys "NO NO, they still could be making changes" is just funny. This is how she will look like. Gear or no gear, it doesn't f%cking matter to me. This is her default look. Of course I am not gonna be naive like some people here and give 100% guarantees as that is a recipe for getting crushed in the most embarassing way. But I am pretty positive about it.
5. Sigh... this is the big W.T.F.
To be honest I can't blame you that much, cause I can't expect you to read all of my posts, but THAT IS PRECISELY why you don't make such assumptions unless you have enough evidence to support it.
That's what a third rate artist does. Not once, did I ask them/or expect them to make Frost look similar to what I have in mind. Or entire MK. I am just one guy, who like an idiot, bought their games full price.
On the contrary, I actually kept most of my MK art hidden, as after I posted some of the Frost unfinished art, it started blowing up so fast, that I actually got scared, that remaining stuff might get noticed by NRS and inspire them to take certain elements (like Tremor fanart). THAT would suck. I don't wanna see my fan fic get butchered by censorship, plain designs and Hollywood B level shit writing. (I mean to be honest my art isn't Mona Lisa pieces, so possibility is extremely low, but better be safe than sorry. Also I am very protective of what I create, so another reason why I wouldn't even think of seeing my stuff on MK)
But of course, I was wrong. Since MKX I saw that they play safe and wouldn't have the nerve to go as brutal and deep. After all. They got WB overlords on their asses. MK that pushed the limits is already dead.
My expectations are very open actually. If "HUMAN Frost" is specific to you... then I don't think you understand the sheer amount of shit you can do with that demand. I only asked for human looking Frost with her own identity. Not my version of Frost. Hell no. I would actually be mad if I saw them put my designed Frost in MK11. Put your own shit, don't ruin what is mine with your censorship and lack of understanding.
Overall, here are the things I expected from MK11.
1. New advancements, push the tech forward. (Instead got Injustice with gore)
2. Exotic character designs (Instead got the most boring plain designs, that are a mess and make no sense)
3. Interesting environments/stages. (They look pretty. But that is all. Zero creativity)
3. HUMAN Frost. How she looks, how she plays is up to NRS. (Got a Cyborg instead. Ok)
4. Working game.
I can pretty much expect it to suck technically (ON PC). Some people try to sell me this idea "But DUDE! It is on UE4! It will be easier. They won't have to deal with custom engine like UE3!". Oh yeah? Then please explain how come Injustice 2 managed to suck even more than MKX? MKX is still having online issues, while Injustice 2 is unplayable online. Not to mention. No fixes, no updates. Game is dead.
MK11 PC once again is outsourced to QLOC. They will make the port, they will add some early updates and after that you're on your own. So if something will be still f%cked up, we can forget any future updates. They dropped MKX, they dropped Injustice 2, hell even MK9 finally received a much needed patch only a WHOLE year later. It has nothing to do with game engine. It is the support that sucks balls.
In the end tell that shit to someone that applies. I have my fanfic and NRS have their "Lore" (that changes with every game). I keep them separate. I never wanna see my fanfic take part in Canon universe of MK. Ever.
I only asked for something new. Instead got MK that is stagnant. I don't care about "additional content". I play fighting games to fight, not sit in the towers and walk around Krypts. They are nice addons, but they don't make the game for me. And I don't expect anything from the story since, that childish shit in MKX. To be honest I expect nothing at this point. Hence why I am not buying. I am just observing.
In short. Just stop pestering me about Frost or why I don't like MK11. You guys talk to me, like I sit here and tell you that everything sucks and you shouldn't buy the game, cause I don't like something. No. I literally said. You like it? Awesome! Just stop selling it to me. It sucks for me personally. I (as in I. ME. One f%cking individual) don't like art direction, mechanics, and feel that game f%cking boring and stagnant. My opinion doesn't decide if game will suck for you.
For them to change my mind, MK11 has to work perfectly, no CTD's, no framedrops, GOOD servers (I mean holy shit. SFV has way better netcode, than MKX.), people would have to be able to play the game Day 1. NO EXCUSES.
As for Frost... To be honest I can't even imagine what the f$ck they would have to do, to make me even remotely interested in that abomination. I don't care about her moveset at this point. I am seriously just desinsitized from numerous disappointments, that I just don't give a shit. I was looking forward to their Frost, and... well got uninspired twist.

January is like yesterday. Not to mention that leak was showing Assembly of the roster.
They don't put entire roster for "early builds". That's not how game dev works (would be massive waste of time too). The fact that most of the roster was already filled, means that the build is actually being finalized and assets are being brought together. Remember those grey placeholders with names on them? If the game is made in UE4, then it is very likely that those grey placeholders are actually trigger buttons. Once they finish setting them up, they add the pictures on top of them, so they would become interactable. They weren't there, because they were still working on characters.
But seriously enough about this entire shit. Don't worry, I am not gonna sit in this forum and whisper time from time "Oh no this game sucks". I just want to observe and drop info time from time (cause for some F%cked up reason, I get all the info in the world, yet I am not even asking for it). Even if MK11 launch were to crash and burn, I am not gonna celebrate and scream "TOLD YA". Just gonna move on.

Fujin and Raiden are not Elder Gods, that's a common misconception. They can be raised to Elder God status, but they are not like Shinnok, for exemple. The Mobile also put them into EG class, but I think that was just lazy job.
Kronika and Cetrion might be Elder Gods, but they didn't seem to be among the six, since they have been shown so far, none look like both. The game lore implies 7 Elder Gods defeated the One Being (6 Kamidogu + Shinnok's Amulet = 6 major realms). Argus, Raiden, Fujin, etc. are like "minor" gods. It's like the Elder Gods are Hades, Poseidon and Zeus, while Raiden, Fujin, Argus, etc. are Ares, Athena, Apollo, etc. (not saying they are their children, however).

I must say, this leak has seriously hyped me for the game, especially the inclusion of Noob Saibot - I was worried he might not make it into the base roster, which could possibly mean no presence in the story mode.
That said, I sincerely hope characters like Noob, Reptile and Baraka will stop being jobbers in the story. Baraka's interactions with the cast in the reveal give me hope they are treating him more 'respectfully', but I have to see the story to be sure. Now that the Outworlders slowly seem to be treading to a chaotic neutral / true neutral territory, it wouldn't be out of the question to see the story giving us control of the outworlders in order to beat a few revenants.
Nevertheless, really interested to see how the story will turn out. Not a fan of time travel and multiverse crap, but if that's the price I have to pay to see some now dead characters back in the game, so be it.

If it's true that Shang Tsung and Shinnok is in, then I want to see how they're going to play differently. Shinnok had a move identical (not astedically) to Shang's rising fireballs.
It's looking likely that Ermac's ending is canon. I sort of figured. Definitely cool though.

Well he didn't wear them while he was fighting in the first two games. He'd only put them on after winning a round.

I just hope that IF Shang Tsung really is in, that he's not just another henchman / jobber or side-kick.
As it is, Kano is probably going to be someone's henchman yet again, probably serving Kronika / Geras. :roll:
For ONCE I'd like to see Shang Tsung with his own motives in an MK game, perhaps double-crossing Kronika and screwing her over with his own plans or something else to the effect of him doing his own thing.
