It's not just his face or hair. He got much more detail (just look at that bicep vein popping out) and more natural diffuse map colours. The first versions looked washed out, muddy and lacked detailed. Very impressive.

Like I mentioned, it's not just the face or the hair. The entire model is more detailed which is a very impressive improvement.
