Tri-Borg origins THEORY.........

Maybe this cyborg is somekind of common Lin Kuei that morphs into the very best cyborgs, like an hologram.

We can see that Sektor is pixelated, I don't know what kind of memories they could have shared to avoid death.

Who knows if Sektorand Cyrax didn't make any backup?

Anyway, that doesn't explain Cyber Smoke, since he never existed in this timeline, so I think this may be another big "what-if".

Are they going to continue the comic?

Unfortunately, there's still much lore to be doomed.

Regardless of how much they lore "messed" with, the comics were still a great window into a lot of thinks we would have otherwise never had seen. Thanks to the comic we got to see Kotal as an epic hero, Scorpion as an actual man and the incredible scene where Goro's father shows how much he cares about him.

Is no one else disappointed they messed with Smoke's colours? He was never black and red. No reason to change it. :(

He had red eyes in Deception with a dark blue body.
Besides, there's always hope for his P2 color to be purple.

I agree. But with that, came also a lot of BS.

And, in the end, not even Kotal or Scorpion actually acted like this in the game.

I commented on another site (that has nothing with MK), but I'm gonna say here, because I think you would understand.

You know why the Arkham series made success? It's not because it's Batman. In the matter of Batman, there is one of the most hated movies.

It's because Rocksteady was genius enough to put their own idea (brilliant, by the way) without hurting the original one. They started with the original Asylum, already existent, but then created Arkham City, their original creation (almost a criminology art), and Arkham Knight is a result of their creation parallel with the raw material (it was even obvious who was the Arkham Knight, but the way it was developed was still a win).

Result? Extreme success.

MKX comics are doing the exact opposite. Kittelsen writes with no care for the actual lore, he invents and ignores anything he wants, and it's not even his creation. So, yes, we did have pretty much good moments, but to get this we have to endure a total mess of the lore.

That's why I think we, MK fans, are pretty desperate. We got so little of our characters, bad movies, sometimes even games disappoint, more non canon internet series, that when we have something that is official and canon, most of us are more open to accept any circunstance that the characters appear, only to see them.

Even if Noob did "die," though, is he really dead?
Wouldn't he just re-appear in the NetherRealm, as a revenant?
Why isn't he a revenant in MKX?
Why hasn't NRS confirmed him to be dead?
Why haven't the comics confirmed him as dead?
Much how like Tarkatan Trash has previously said about Scorpion, "how do you kill something that's already dead?"

Jade was confirmed dead by the NRS guys (I believe that Tyler and Derek officially confirmed it on the Kitana stream).
As for Sheeva, I'm sure that Boon / NRS did that ending in MK9 just to troll the Australian ratings board.
IIRC, the MKX comics don't confirm her being ruler of the Shokan (or Australia) and the MKX game story doesn't, either.

I absolutely agree with this part. Especially when it comes to villains. They get next to development in the games, but this comic was our only hope of Reptile talking for more than a second.

As much as I enjoyed the comics, it really was like loving someone more only because the last person abused you

That's exactly the point!

And it will happen always, by the way it goes. People didn't backlash comic inconsistencies, we were easy on our critics (of course I'm not saying that we should go Himmerick-twitter mode, but at the least our critics should be more...faithful), and when asked Kittelsen, he invented something at the very moment he laid his eyes on the question.

So I pray this comics never have a continuation, because the mess caused so far will lose control if we continue.

But I doubt. Seems like NRS is "cleaning" everything so they can come up with new things. Absolutely unnecessary, IMO.

Much how like Tarkatan Trash has previously said about Scorpion, "how do you kill something that's already dead?"

Even Shinnok "mourned" Quan Chi's death. Saying "A pity he didn't live". So if the necromancer can die, what makes you think his creations can't die? Scorpion was only immortal in the old timeline because he was bound by revenge. Noob Saibot has never shown any inclination to his past life, no chip on his shoulder. He was a jobber that got murked.

IIRC, the MKX comics don't confirm her being ruler of the Shokan (or Australia) and the MKX game story doesn't, either.

She's referred to as "Queen Sheeva" in the comics.

There's no mention of Noob being dead, though, aside from 1 small intro line between Sub-Zero and Kung Lao, but as the non-canon living Liu Kang, non-canon living Kung Lao and non-canon living Kitana have all proven, not all of the fight intro lines can be taken as canon in MKX.
This puts us back to square 1, as to whether or not Noob Saibot is dead or alive.
I'm not arguing for or against him being alive or dead, and I do agree with you that he could be dead, but he could very well also be alive.
As was mentioned, NRS have yet to say how the Soulnado works in this timeline, and they've been very hush hush about Noob Saibot, neither confirming him dead or confirming him alive.
Either way, my theory doesn't have to necessarily be Noob Saibot specifically, but just that it seems like someone else is pulling the strings regarding Tri-Borg (if he does become future canon material).
I find it odd that there's no such thing as Cyber Smoke in this timeline, yet he exists (yes, I know why, for the those cyber Smoke fans), but for no other reason than gameplay.
Kinda makes me want to know his bio and ending, to see what bio and ending NRS will cook up for him.

Didn't know that.
