Sektor, really? don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Sektor it's just that he's a really minor character, seriously, when was the last time he had an important role in any part of the story? he never did, and unlike him, at the time Reiko was the main villain of the comic so it made that he was heavily requested.

Sure, of course it's horrible that this guy did what he did, and as a big fan of MK and Reiko, I was pretty pissed off when I heard about that story.

I don't care about the story of a dlc character and neither should you. He's a robot with flame throwers and missiles. I don't need to know what his Myspace wall reads to want to use him.

My best advice for fans who don't get what they want in a game, DON'T PLAY THE GAME INSTEAD!!!! That's the best option! Find another game that you all will enjoy. If not enjoy all the way, at least enjoy to a certain extent. That's what I'm doing with MKX. That game has many things wrong with it when it comes to gameplay and characters but all I do is enjoy what I can enjoy from it (like Kitana). I was expecting to play as Tanya as much as I played as Jade in MK9 but I guess I didn't do it that much because of her gameplay mechanics. I was more compatible with Kitana than Tanya as far as gameplay goes. Hopefully though, I'll be able to play as all my favorite characters comfortably at least before the next NRS game comes out. It does annoy me a bit that my characters are more complex to learn than many other characters. Still though, I MAKE THE MOST OUT OF IT!

Yes I complain. Yes I bash at certain companies at times for not manufacturing their products the way how I expected them to manufacture their products. I especially ranted about SNK when they released the arcade version of King of Fighters 96 in the PS3 (especially how there would be 4 credits and how it automatically became 3 credits when the characters select screen was on and how after all the credits, I have to start over again). But did I threaten to rape them and do what I'd want Jade from the MK series to do as fatalities? NO! Why? Because it's worthless. Now maybe some people who make these threats think it's a joke and just trolling around but seriously speaking, IT'S A CRIME!

For the trolls who make threats in the internet, make sure that you will not be identified otherwise once you make the threat and people know who you are (and I mean you're real name), you will go behind bars!

One of the reason why I stopped playing Dying Light for awhile is because they kept my favorite weapon very weak. I'll play it again though. But I did not think of that company ill at all.

Meh, I never saw Sektor as that much of a big deal if he was gone.
In my book, he was always 1 of the many characters that could be interchangeable / swapped out for other characters, in the next game.

I thought the same to be true with Kitana and Kung Lao, but apparently NRS sees it otherwise.
According to MKX, if Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Liu Kang, Kitana and Kung Lao are in the next game, every other Klassic MK character is interchangeable from game to game.
At least that's the general feeling that I got from it, given that NRS wen't out of their way to make Sub-Zero and Scorpion human again, and they also went out of their way to make Kitana, Kung Lao and Liu Kang's default costumes the human costumes, despite their default costumes not being canon.
I suspect that in MK11 NRS will turn those 3 other characters that cry-baby fans must have (Kitana, Kung Lao, and Liu Kang) into humans, and that dead characters like Kabal, Smoke, and Jade will be swapped out for Mileena, Quan Chi, and Baraka.

My favorite 4 characters are currently dead (Reiko, Mavado, Shang Tsung and Noob Saibot) but that doesn't mean i'm going to stop following the series, I am pretty disappointed at how SOME things turned out in MKX and MK as a whole because I had better expectations but MKX in my opinion is still a decent addition to the series.

Noob Saibot (in my book) is the equivalent of Schrodinger's Cat.
He could be dead or he could be alive.
MK9 left him on a cliffhanger and the intro lines between Kuai Liang and Kung Lao in MKX didn't really clear that up any further.
If anything, it points to Noob still being alive.

Kung Lao: "Seen your brother lately?"
Kuai Liang: "Noob Saibot's whereabouts are unknown."
Kung Lao: "He calls to you from the other side."

If Noob Saibot was dead after MK9, then Kuai Liang would have also seen him there in the NetherRealm, when he was also dead.
That intro line likely is just Kung Lao trying to get under Kuai Liang's skin, and annoy him.


Plus, given that human Kung Lao, human Liu Kang and human Kitana's intro lines are non-canon, then all intro lines can also be considered non-canon and are open for interpretation.

I don't recall Kuai ever referring to Bi-Han as dead during MKX, after MK9.
He spoke of Scorpion killing Bi-Han, but that was during the events of MK9, not afterwards (MKX).

Noob's not dead, nor is he alive, he's currently "unknown" at this time. There's been no announcement from anywhere about what happened to him after he was thrown into the Soulnado. We have no idea whether he managed to escape it by some reason or if he is dead. We do know that there's only been one survivor from being tossed into the Soulnado and that was Scorpion. However, we know why that is. With Noob, all we have is a vague dialogue between Sub-Zero and Kung Lao and that is it.

In my opinion, I think it would be stupid for Noob to die in the Soulnado just given who he is. I may have liked the story in 2011, but I will say that a lot of characters died in stupid ways. If Noob is really dead from that, then he would be added to the list of dumb ways to be killed in 2011's story.

Despite the fact that theory we were defending before MKX not being used, I really believe they will put Noob surviving the Soulnado the same way Scorpion did at MKA-MK.

That's the easiest way, even if they do not use any Elder Gods Champion thing.

If they ever bring Noob Saibot back (which I'm guessing at some point in the future they would, because no one ever STAYS dead in MK), then that would be the easiest way to do it.

I will only disagree when it comes to post-Mythologies.

Some events of games are older than Raiden's changes, so if NRS pretend that those events never happened, it's good old fashioned arbitrary retcon.

That's why I think they do not care at all at how Kittelsen is shattering canon and coherence.

That's what I mean by post-Mythologies.
Mythologies takes place before MK1, so anything affected by the amulet cracking in MK9 is only from the point of MK1 and onward.
The Mythologies stuff went untouched.
Sareena still got help from Bi-Han when he was human (pre-MK1), per MKX.
Sub-Zero still was invited to the Mortal Kombat 1 tournament (pre-MK1).
Skinnok turns into a demon in his final boss form (pre-MK1).
