Tanya coming this Tuesday

I'm ready for Tanya, I'm way more excited about her now than I was when she was announced, but honestly I'm just counting down the days 'til we get Tremor. He hasn't been talked about much here on these forums but I can't wait for him to be released.

I just hope they don't they pull a Kotal Kahn and make him incredibly slow. My hype for Kotal completely dissolved due to his speed, and hopefully Tremor doesn't suffer the same fate. But yeahhhh, Tanya.. can't wait :b

Dude, you need to lighten up. You act like everyone is out to get you. If someone twists your words and you know it, it doesn't matter because you know the truth. No one is going to say "Commander is an anus because of what this person said." Only you can be responsible for that. Enough of the word twisting. My minds getting twisted just hearing about all the word twisting going on. :lol:

i am actually interested in Tremor as well, earth moving powers are a welcomed addition to MKX. When injustice was big, Ed Boon tweeted who we would like as DLC and I kept tweeting Tara/Terra from Teen Titans.

Unfortunately Tremor look like he's going to be really SLOWWWWWWWWWW.

People have done it in the past where 1 person quotes something I say and twists my meaning in their reply, and then someone else comes in to chime in on said twisted meaning.
I wouldn't point it out if it didn't happen.

A very random question to ask but... Does the name Tanya really fit her?

Out of all the Edenian women, hers just seem out of place. And I've always had a feeling that Jade is like a nickname.

Like why give a character an Earthrealm-like name to a character that somewhat seems like an alien to Earthrealm?

Just a thought I had... Although I'm sure it could have gone into a different thread but since it's about Tanya... Yeah.

They could of used a more Edenian sounding name but I know Tanya and Sonya are the names of Boon's sisters. I'm assuming his sister, Tanya, was a brat :lol:

But I think Tanya is a fine name for her dispite that.

Kindof off topic but is Ed Boon involved in the day to day operations of NRS or is he more a figurehead now.
 
Ed Boon has a brother named Mike who has been on the MK team since MK4. Why don't we have an MK character named after HIM yet?

Dunno.
Maybe people feel the need to talk down to or debate with a TRMK regular.
Notice how this doesn't happen with you, Taj and some others.
It's certain people that have a habit of doing it.

I wonder if Tanya will have her MK4 neck snap Fatality in some fashion in MKX.
Maybe her MK4 Fatality could be an X-Ray in MKX?
 
The last few games, his role was just "director."

I know the director can do multiple things in the project and take part in some stuff.

However, it would be sorta nice to see what his sisters looks like and why he felt the need to dedicate two characters to his sisters by giving them their names.

Like, is Sonya a headstrong sister who actually is in the military and is Tanya his backstabbing sister?
 
Mileena is also a human name, though it's usually spelled Milena. I don't think Tanya is far off from Kitana/Mileena. Only Kitana and Sindel really have "fantasy" names.

Ed Boon's sisters spell their names Sonia and Tania, incidentally. I guess he likes Ys.
 
I doubt Boon named Sonya and Tanya after the personalities of his sisters, just after the first names of them. Tobias actually wrote what their personalities were to begin with.
