Well, that will suck if it turns out to be the case. Beating a dead horse much? Sure, MK1-3 is classic, but didn't people get enough with MK9? I just don't get it. Yes, I did complain openly several times that MKX lacks any classic stages. But that was before I played it. Now I don't mind that much anymore. What I do mind, though, is the amount of stages we have. 13 is just... a bit disappointing. It can get repetetive soon. Yes, all of them are well done, but I don't accept that as an excuse. If they add classic stages instead of new ones, chances are they will feel out of place (depending on what stage it is) and it won't be very nice of them, because they will be offering them only to those interested and surely for a hefty price. Not to mention, are they going to just HD them or actually redo them and add the interactivity? And what if they bring back a stage that had a fatality? Will they preserve it or ditch it? If they preserve it, why not include a fatality in the new stages as well? Because of all that I find bringing back old stages relatively dumb and controversial. If any old stages should be brought back, it should be the ones from MK4/DA/D - it's about time, they actually already have interactive elements and would be a better fit in both presentation and story. But I guess some people really can't let go and don't want to face the reality of being old, begging constantly developers for doses of nostalgia they'll be happy to pay for just to get their momentarily fix. If you really have to, at least hide them in the Krypt so we can unlock them. Having to actually pay for this crap over and over is just embarrassing.
