I doubt we'll ever get an actually new character as DLC. They want characters that they know have fans who will pay up.

Well, Skarlet is new like Ermac was new in UMK3, since neither of them were actual characters before their respective debuts. Tremor was already a character in the MK franchise and has been since MK: Special Forces.

Yes, technically I understand that. But she wasn't new like D'Vorah or Ferra/Torr is new. She was an already-circulating idea.

That's a lovely idea. How about Kotal Kahn's Koliseum? I'd love to see him chilling, in the same laid back pose he has in his throne room, while two beautiful ladies stand beside him working their leafy fans.

The Pit seems to be a shoe-in.

Let's see if I can remember any cool 3D stages. It's been years since I touched any of those games.

There was a purple one where you could launch the opponent down an endless flight of stairs. There was one with crumbling rocks all around you. There was one where you could chuck somebody into a furnace. And I think those are all the ones I can remember, lol. :(

I liked the Deception one that was like a happy tropical beach vacation and then it would morph into a hellscape full of giant snakes and then morph back again.

Not complaining about MKX's stages, they are cool, well developed, seriously, they are perfect.

They brought back my beloved Sky Temple :laugh:

But they are quite a few, and more locations would be extremely welcome.

Notice the "klassic" too. It means that we could see much more than klassic.
 
The Portal, Kombat Tomb, Prison (MK4), and the Slaughter House would be cool but I don't know if Deception is considered klassic yet.

A lot?
No, he was referenced maybe 2 or 3 times in past-tense, meaning pre-MK9.
He was not referenced AT ALL in the present tense as either having survivded the MK9 Soulnado or being killed by the MK9 Soulnado.
 
They need to do a MK Deception thing where the MK2 and MK3 Portal stages combined into one. Then there can be a stage alteration, like Jinsei Chamber to Corrupted Jinsei Chamber, to make the Portal stage change from red to blue, in order to incorporate the Scislac Busorez stage from UMK3.

Well, it's quite obvious we will see MK1-MK3 stuff. When they said Klassic Kitana and Mileena outfits unlockable via mobile, most people here said: probably MK4/DA/D outfits. We got MK2 again.

I don't think so. I think we'll likely just get rehashes of the Pit and the Subway.
I'd absolutely love the MK4 Elder Gods stage though, or MKDs Dark Prison. I'd jump.
 
I hope not.
I'd rather see an arena that didn't have a Stage Fatality getting a revamp.
The Pit without The Pit Fatality would just feel wrong, to me.
 
I can see them fixing it up with some sort of stage brutality.
Maybe the pit bottom.
Who knows, I just easily see them selling The Pit, since it's the biggest Arena casual-fanbase wise.
