Also a fan of the black/yellow armored bodysuit. She'll look badass in it. I hope they choose it. I'm not gonna drag up appearance and skin colour, but do you think NRS have noticed the debacle about Tanya's 'new' appearance? Perhaps Tanya's not a huge character that everybody has been talking about, but her look seems to be a big talking point in terms of her character

8 years is a long time, indeed.
In those 8 years, I've been with her through bringing Shinnok's army into Edenia, through her leading the undead army, through her leading the tarkatan as Onaga's ambassador, and now through her being the ambassador of the rebellion army.

They're definitely aware. There've been a lot of tweets. I actually had a two-part tweet where I mentioned my concerns about it and then praised the story mode -- they faved the second tweet, so they almost certainly read both of them.

I made a tweet as well which people jumped on to fav/RT, so I do get the impression people aren't happy. But I doubt anybody from NRS noticed it. I don't expect the team to change her appearance now, but I hope they've at least acknowledged people are a bit 'wtf' about the drastic change.

I haven't seen one person who wasn't bothered by it yet, lol

i tweeted them as well when her reveal trailer came out. I also link several articles about her getting whitewashed to the main twitter, Ed's and Tyler's. I'm sure they are aware but at this point, i accept it and have moved on. I figure this is NOW how they want Tanya to look.

It's not even the 'whitewash' thing, but she looks like a whole new character, so it's hard to grasp when one of your favourites shows up in a new body haha. She may return in the next game with Tarkatan blades who knows hahaha

Strange....that's literally the fan design for Tanya's MK9 primary, which was seen and loved by the MK9 directors shortly after the game came out in 2011. Maybe they originally were gonna go with the fan design?

I do vaguely remember the artists tweeting the design and saying 'Please use this for Tanya in MK9!!!' and then one of the MK9 directors said 'Haha, maybe. '
