I just read through MK9's endings to make sure.
Sektor is the only one that is canon (sorta). I say sorta because it's unknown if Sektor killed his father.
Smoke's is canon, I guess, but we already knew that Smoke was an enenra.
I thought I saw something on Baraka specifically, but I'll put it out of mind unless Baraka actually shows up.

Even still... I think he might've been doing some misleading here, especially with how quiet he's still been about Baraka even as I found a bunch of tweets asking about him. We'll have to wait and see if he actually shows up before saying there's been a mistake in canon.

I like that some of the ending from MK9 end up being cannon and not all of them where just what if endings. Shujinko's cameo in Cassie's ending could mean that he is dead and his quest for Onaga was never finished.

I saw that too, LOL.
I resisted every urge to say something snappy.
I'm almost 100% sure this will be one of a handful of true endings, just another way to kill of a character that we won't see again. I mentioned it about 9 to 10 pages back and I was quoted with 'it's probably not gonna be true' every left and right.

I am going mostly by past experience with DLC (both for MK9 as well as other video game titles)...but from what we've heard/seen so far (in regards to the first kombat pack) is:
1) No alts
2) You can't honestly look at Tanya and tell me she doesn't look rushed and thrown together. I will say that the other 3 look pretty decent, however.
3) Obviously little to no story relevance.
Not to mention the fact that even if we did get a 2nd kombat pack, who wants to wait until presumably sometime around very late summer to early fall to play with these characters? The novelty and excitement level for the game will have plummeted, and there just isn't much interest left in playing the game at that point.

She contributed more to the MKX story than 45% of the roster, are you just trolling here?

We really need stage DLC to make up for the lack of stages but I doubt that it will ever happen.

If you're only playing for a bit before you drop the game, like all the casuals, then why complain?
This has me questioning something if Liu and Kitana are revenants the whole game, then is Kung Lao, Sub Zero, Jax, etc...all revenants the whole game as well? And if so, how is Jacquie born? Maybe she was born before Jax died? Or maybe she is half revnant!? If they somehow got resurrected (meaning Kung Lao, Jax, and Sub Zero) how were they resurrected, while Liu, and Kitana not resurrected? Also why is Sektor even though dead, still a cyborg, while Sub Zero not only resurrected (or at least appears to be resurrected) but also non cyborg? Even though many hated cyborg Sub Zero, for accuracy sake should he either be A. A revenant cyborg or B. At the very least a resurrected/reprogrammed cyborg?

There are shots of his severed head being used by Sub-Zero to show Scorpion his memories. He's definitely dead.
Does anyone know if Tanya, Mileena and Rain survived?
BBB:thanks for that also does anyone realize the fascination with neutralizing characters, and making them no longer a threat by decapitation here? I am not sure if the Mileena pic was confirmed as a death scene or just a fatality, but we have three main characters here (Sektor, Mileena, and Shinnok) now no longer threats just because there heads are off lmao. I mean couldn't they at least make it something different? Another thing is I noticed a trend here, there making each realm that was a threat no longer a threat anymore. Outworld is now neutral/even possibly friendly (Kotal rule). Nether realm now I am assuming friendly since it sounds to me if Raiden is still sane, and not bezerk that he made up with Liu and Kitana, and now both realms are friendly. So maybe the next game is either chaos realm or order realm? I still think they are gonna do the deadly alliance/Dragon King Lair awakening plot line. Maybe not in MK11 but one of these games they will. Since they are neutralizing all threats to earth realm with the dissipation of Shao Kahn's soul, and beheading Shinnok, the only threat lefts that we know of are Onaga, Deadly Alliance (Not sure if either are still alive or not), and the whole Armageddon deal. With Reiko, and Havik also being a minor threat as well.
Only thing I can think of is maybe Reiko, and Havik are the new deadly alliance and at the end they open the Dragon King Lair and bring forth Onaga. Other then that, or a new bad guy. They would have to bring Quan Chi Shang Tsun back or something like that. Thanks BBB and that's nasty maggots. And that's pathetic about Baraaka, I mean seriously not even playable and off screen death wow...
