Some 'bring you up to speed' shit. Ridiculously disappointed considering I thought he was guaranteed to be in this game, but I've gotten over it. Mostly.


I'm hoping NRS doesn't completely burn his bridge. Just go with the old timeline route and have Sub-Zero exile him. Cast him off so he can create the Tekunin, and maybe show up in MK11.

All the Jax and Jacqui hate seems really irrational and ignorant. There's little reason backing it. I forgot the word for that kind of misplaced hate and discrimination. Hmmm just keeps slipping my mind oh well *whistles*

If you're mad because they're "generic military people" then you're forgetting all the character development Jax has and the personality Jacqui has (olympic athlete). Nobody complains about how bland Ermac is (his one purpose in life is to remind everyone that he uses the pronoun 'we' and that's literally it) or how Erron Black is pretty much just a cowboy trope (from what we've seen so far in the comics and trailers) and that's pretty much it. There's literally no excuse for that bullshit. Neither does "we have too many military people" work. Jax was technically the first military character in MK but he got replaced by Sonya. It's not like soldiers aren't our modern day warriors. So get out of here. The Jax/Jacqui hate stems from ignorant bs.

Cool off. They're just characters. No one has to justify why they feel a certain way towards them.
 
Now that I look at her, I can't really say that her primary is that bad. It's hard for me to think of anything else for her to wear in story mode. It makes sense that Takeda and Jin don't look like soldiers. Even though they're Special Forces, they didn't train in the Special Forces. So it makes sense that Takeda looks like a ninja and Jin looks like a monk. But she's a straight up soldier, so of course she'll look like one.


That said she had better have a wild alt costume. Tank top and camo pants wont cut it. I want this bich to have some weird shit. Like Octopus Anna

Before Sonya existed, Jax was originally conceived as a character and possessed her scenario for the first Mortal Kombat. However, since there were no female characters in the original roster at the time, Sonya was created and she inherited his storyline of pursuing Kano and entrapment on Shang Tsung's island. He was also going to be named Kurtis Stryker at first, but ultimately that was given to the Cop introduced in MK3.

It's just an example. I don't want her nose to disappear and her eyes to grow 7 times in size.
Just something that isn't a 'variation' of her primary.
 
I think NRS might win me over on Jax like they have with Kano. His costume is awesome, his dialogue is great, and that cigar is glorious.
