Shaolin Trailer + Bo rai cho

Kung Lao's second fatality is okay. I like the overall design of it. but the head in the body gimmick has already been used by Ermac.

Liu Kang's fatality is awesome but doesn't belong to his character at all. It's too brutish. It also had the cheesy Cage vibe with pushing them over.

and is it just me, or does he look even bulkier than MK9? Might be his outfit. But he doesn't look like the nimble Bruce Lee kind of character that he should be.
 
When that 3rd row on the character select screen drops ima come here and laugh so hard at the nay sayers, im gunna main all 35 characters.
 
I'd like a third row but honestly that's wishful thinking. but honestly, maybe a 3rd row wouldn't be so good. NRS has a hard time balancing characters. It would make their job easier with less characters to worry about.
 
So Kung lao and Liu seem like they're kind of rogues in this shaolin monks vs the world type of deal I dig it.

I also really want a Champ johnny( presumably he's gotten stronger) vs liu kang fight.

Also love what liu says to raiden the whole Do you still have visions thing.

Regardless, if there weren't any leaks, we would've been shocked. So far, they're doing a good job of keeping shit under wraps IMO.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.

I dunno, but I'm just speculating.
I do hope that Fujin makes it in, though, given that it seems like the top MK4 debut characters are Quan Chi, Fujin, Tanya and Shinnok (in that order), based on fan requests and over-all popularity.
 
That 'leak' is definitely bull. The next Kombat Pack - if there is one - won't have been decided upon yet. It's a typical 'this is plausible and it's what people want to see' leak, which is why it's being discussed.

and the third row is a given. im surprised Boon hasent tweeted a pic of him playing tick tac toe 'THREE IN A ROW!' - "third row confirmed"

as for kombat pack 2 thats also a given imo.
lot of money to be made in DLC and WB are greedy which is fine as its business at the end of the day.
and i think spawn will be in the second pack since todd mcfarlane said he gave NRS a time window to use spawn.. so my guess is they still have some time to spare so are saving him for later down the line as the main dude of the DLC pack2, like predator was on pack 1

It is? Why? There's no reason to believe that there is a third row as it would mean quite a few unrevealed characters. Unless Rain, Baraka and co. are really playable and we had the wrong impression that they were NPCs - and I would love that. It would be awesome.

As for Kung Lao, it's an alternate costume like everyone else who was dead. By the way, so much for those who say that NRS can't do anything with the MKDA-MKA characters... Bo Rai Cho looks like a serious character here. It's just a matter of putting some effort.
