Not regular Fujin but Blood God Fujin? Like a jacked up, much larger, more possessed looking version of Fujin? I could see it happening

Shinnok as the final boss was downright pathetic during the fourth game. Was hardly a challenge as you stated.

If anything, that is if he really is the end boss, have him turn into his demonic form that he did during Mythologies, then maybe he can finally redeem himself from that god awful debut.

I can see Fujin way more than Reiko, and I'm not that big for the end boss being Fujin.

Right, you can see Reiko, the guy that's being built up as an evil genius in the comics, as being less likely to be the final boss than Fujin. Sure, Kitty, sure.

Unless you want to count the statues which shows Baraka and Shang Tsung, the more likely choice is Shinok.

Right... They showed Fujin in that trailer as well. NRS is too smart to say something and give away such a big spoiler to their story. I think that was a more tounge-in-cheek nod towards Fujin
 
I'd be surprised if it was Shinnok. The fact we've seen exchanges between him and Raiden & Him and Sonya/Johnny just seems odd. It takes away the surprise element if he's having run-ins throughout the story.

I can't remember if I said it already in this thread but I could see it being reiko too. My only concern with him is that they're playing him up a lot in the comics. Either making him a red herring or he is in fact the big bad, which would be surprising if your not reading the comics. But I think this game is geared a lot towards its hard core fans as well and I assume most of us are keeping up with the comics, therefore reiko wouldn't be a "holy crap" moment if he gets revealed to be the boss

yeah but they like the idea of having a playable boss plus Shinok is an Elder God. I dont see any of these kharacters that aren't Gods(Reiko,Havik etc.) As final boss.

But the real question should be, Whos the sub-boss lol, they definitely fit that role.

So, it's okay for you to claim people are making "silly guesses" for those saying it could be Fujin, but the moment someone says that about Reiko you jump the gun?

Fujin is big bad? Seriously.. I love that idea but there is a lot of problem.. What is the reason to make Fujin as main villain? Will he conquer Earthrealm? or just a possessed by kamidogu dagger but without wise? i don't think so, That makes him just a fool.. As for me the big bad will be an evil character which wants to have power, throne etc.. like Shang Tsung, Reiko or familiar one with them.

Yeah, that is the blood demon but who it is? i am not sure.. If this is Onaga he changed too much, especially his face.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be Skarlet.
I mean, she uses blood for all of her attacks. She probably has Shao Kahn's blood. Each use of the blood code might transfer the users power to her. She's pretty much a blood demon herself. The only question that needs to be answered is if she is THE blood demon.
