March 19th Kombat Kast Stream Thread

Re: New Kombat Kast Tomorrow?

Let's not pretend they're doing this out of the kindness of their hearts. These streams are an advertisement tool. Not saying it's a bad thing but all the "you should be grateful" talk is annoying and pathetic. Some of you guys need to learn the basics of consumerism.

If you are watching the streams that means you are big enough of a fan to have decided to buy the game already.

The streams as a promotional too are not that effective.

Im not grateful at all. Its their job to promote their product to the consumer. Im not obligated to buy the game just like they dont have to do the streams. But its in their best interest to do so to get you to want the game.

You had to post this pic didn't you TheIncubusLord? :)
Commander taught me that one though, so blame him. :P

And that is what they are doing with these streams. They show us some of the characters' Variations, they talk about how it works behind the scenes, they've shown us a little bit of the Story Mode, they've shown us some -alities...

Looking at the amount of guests viewing this thread reminds me of a time during MK9's lead up to release, where one of the members got their hands on MK9 early and was going to set up a live stream. Some of us proposed that the stream be for members only, via password required stream, you can only imagine how many accounts were made that day

Was he banned for showing the game early?

Holy shit yeah. I also remember when that happened, the homie Aldo Moreno was tripping balls after reading Raiden's lines regarding Liu Kang's death lollllll.

I don't know how it works. I thought that showing the game before it's planned release date was enough. I mean, you can get banned from online play by playing a game before it's planned online date.

As far as I know, he was all good. It was a week, maybe a few days even, before the release date.

Stayed up working until 5 AM. No alarm clock? No problem. Woke up 5 minutes ago.

My body is ready.

Ed might be on the stream. If not this one then definitely the next one. He mentioned he might make an appeareance in the future. And since he was the one to announce one for today...
