Yeah that exactly. Of course it wont look exactly the same. But the stone statues remind me of the warrior shrine

Yeah, but my point is aren't the warning labels on trailers supposed to be just for the content within the trailer? So it shouldn't matter what's in the game.

But I checked the story trailer and it has the same "strong language" label. Huh.

No sir, they're for the game.

My guess is that it's there for parents in case their kids stumble upon the trailer and say "OMG mom, dad can I have this game" and the parents can shut that down asap.

Johnny Cage looks cool and seems fun to play but as far as I can say Sonya is a waste of character slot IMO. Now we have two Cassies/Sonyas Tekken-style. I am glad that at least Shinnok is playable. Now we won't see Reiko, Fujin or Havik on the roster. It sucks. Jax being on the roster makes me damn angry too.

Im not mad about Jax, is the "bro" of the MK saga, he`s cool.. but Sonya,,,yeah, is a kind of spot waster, if you have Cassie in the game.
 
Johnny was ok his fatality was pretty cool as for Sonya? Still a waste of character slot. Too bad we didn't get to see more of Shinnok.

Off topic: Do they ever update the main page anymore?
 
My considerations about the trailer:

- Pay attention on the statues. It's like a warrior's shrine telling MK story. Elder Gods defeat Shinnok, imprision him and then our heroes. It's like a Warrior's Shrine of the four classic games!;

- Sonya looks GORGEOUS. "She looks like a man". Well, if you still think she looks like a man, probably the men you know look like women;

- Johnny is more lulz than ever;

- Revenant Jax: even thought he was Baraka for a second!

- Quan Chi's armour and symbol on the floor;

- Kenshi: :D;

- Special Forces gives me the feel that each faction may have a stage like that. Looks like Marvel vs Capcom's training stages;

- Mileena;

- SHINNOK KICKING BUTTS.

Agreed, i was banking on Johnny but damnit Sonya could have sat this one out, but hey she was one of the original 3 heroes so she deserves a spot in Mkx... everyone from mk1 has been revealed damnit where is Liu Kang? :'(
 
I prefer Sonya a thousand times over Johnny. Just because Cassie is a girl, then Sonya a waste of slot?! Cassie plays much more like Johnny/Stryker than Sonya.

Sonya no longer looks like a man. NRS did a great job in her. Wish she looked a bit older tho.

What a boring roster, there is no new generation, we have only childs, couisins or whatever of old ones.. Johnny Cage's fatality belongs to Shao Kahn and that is stupid. Btw where the hell is bad guys? We have only Mileena, Quan Chi and Kano and my last hope is Shinnok will be in the team of bad guys. That is all? I can't believe.. Also that fun suprise returning character is simply Shinnok i guess because we have no more slots. This game needs to evil like Reiko, Havik, Rain and Onaga if there are no bad guys against Special Forces the game will be most meaningless Mortal Kombat of all time, even boring then Mortal Kombat Special Forces..

They might as well just delete those discussion pages. They havent been updated since Quan Chi was announced and no one uses them anyways
