Re: [SPOILER, RUMOR] Sub-Zero's identity in MKX is...
- Quan Chi didn't own Bi-Han's soul at the end of MK9, much like how Scorpion was Quan Chi's servant and not a revenant (comics), Noob Saibot also seemed to freely serve Quan Chi in gratitude for Quan Chi bringing him back from the dead.
Unlike Sindel and the other dead under his control at the end of MK9, Noob Saibot was not "controlled" by Quan Chi.
- Scorpion's "MURDERER" line to him also points to Bi-Han, as Bi-Han is the sole murderer of Scorpion and the accused killer of his family and clan, as per MK9.
- The whole corrupted soul exchange with Sub-Zero and Ermac seems to refer (IMO) to Noob Saibot being corrupted / tainted as that new creation under Quan Chi, after he was infused with a wraith.
His soul was corrupted, hence why he ended up in hell when he died.
The ONLY reason why Kuai ended up in hell was because his soul was bargained to Quan Chi in a deal by Shao Kahn, in exchange for his service, but Kuai-Liang never had a tainted soul in MK9.
Corrupted souls seem to be those which are remade by Quan Chi, which Kuai, Kitana and Kung Lao never were in MK9 or seemingly in MKX.
Revenant = animated ghost / corpse.
That's not the same as being a corrupted soul.

I'm not 100% convinced that MKX in-game Sub-Zero is Kuai in both costumes, unless he's also called Kuai in the masked costume.
I want a proper explanation for MKX in-game masked Sub-Zero being Kuai, as so far that evidence hasn't been shown.
Which intros point to it being Bi Han? The "Brother's Soul" one? Because last time I checked Quan Chi owned both of their souls at the end of MK9, and yet Kuai Liang is the only one we see free in MKX.

Dude, just give it up. its Liang. the "corruption" quote is in reference to the Kamidogu controlling him like it controlled raiden. the "murderer" quote is most likely in reference to murders committed under the influence of the kamidogu.
Noob was a voluntary follower of Quan chi. It's Liang's punk ass. I wanted it to be Bi Han too, but it quite obviously isn't sorry bro. I'm pissed too. what a big steaming bore. so tired of little brother and his goody goody bullshit
