Because Bi-Han and Kuai were alts of the same character in the last game.
I've come in here with what I believe to be evidence in Bi-Han's favor with intro dialogues, but I've also said multiple times that it could be Kuai, Bi-Han or a relative (cousin) of the 2, unlike you who acts like it can't be Bi-Han at all.

I agree that there's still hope for Bi-Han in some way or another, whether its a costume, that statue, reference or cameo. But it seems more slim now.
I'm starting to think Scorpion calls Sub-Zero a murderer because he's talking about the Lin Kuei as a whole. That line is probably meant before he learns the truth (if he does).
I'm not here to gloat but to express my satisfaction with the news. I'm glad the mystery is solved and I'm very pleased that Kuai (my favorite character) is a human Sub-Zero once more. He deserves redemption after what happened.

Yep. They sure were. For story purposes. But I cannot see it happening this time. It's obvious that they're going to 'un-cyber' and restore Kuai. Initially he has the ninja costume we've seen then later switches to his mk-3 styled garb. No reason for Bi-han anymore. Believe me, I wish that it was him, he's never really gotten to have a good shot at it in the main series. It's obvious he's going to come back as Noob Saibot if he comes back at all.

The proof is there for the UMK3 / massless version, which I agree with being Kuai, but not for the main in-game version.
The proof is stronger for the in-game version that we've been seen with the primary costume as being Bi-Han.
Except that Noob Saibot doesn't seem playable at all in MKX, and I doubt that they will just leave his story on that cliffhanger.

Does nobody remember when Raiden had the vision of MKX masked Sub-Zero taking out the cyber ninjas? Match that with the Rolling_Toasters account of the cyber ninjas calling MASKED sub-zero Kuai Liang and you can tell. MKX Sub-Zero is Kuai Liang. Debate over.

I don't really think they'll do that, judging by the story trailer where Kuai is advising the heroes. He seems much more seasoned, knowledgeable and I'd bet he's Grandmaster.I'm a little relieved that it wasn't a new guy. To just throw away Bi-Han/Kuai Liang would be criminal.

Completely agree with you. Bi Han could still be an alt/primary but now we now that Kuai Liang is back as a playable human Sub-Zero. I am glad that this is clear now because in the last weeks this thread became an insane fan boy war and really not cool to follow.
Some things could speak for Bi Han being an alt/primary like the things you mentioned. Also on amazon. there is a discription of Sub-Zero where the story of both brothers is told. Since MKX is a sequel it looks strange that the discription tells the story of two brothers what actually happened in the last game. So maybe they prepare noobs to know about the brothers?
Also some of the intros do look like Bi Han. So, people who are saying "Bi Han bs theories", we had a reason to believe and there is still a possibility. Intros like "wearing blue again" or "not corrupted, freed" sound more like Bi Han. Also Quan Chi says that he has "Subs" souls. If the masked Sub-Zero is Kuai Liang as well, then QC is talking about Bi Hans soul. So in one way or another: Bi Han will be somehow in this game. Either playable and sharing a slot or in story mode as cameo or at least he will be mentioned. Maybe the statue from the trailer is Bi Han?

I'm extremely relieved. But I was since it was obvious when it was said BROTHERS. No doubt it was one of them.
Well, Kuai Liang was shown on the trailer as some kind of reference, as master and guide.
He is probably one of the characters that will be instructing the new gen!

Sub-Zero: Kuai Liang and his older brother Bi-Han served the Lin Kuei assassin clan faithfully until the first Mortal Kombat tournament. There Bi-Han, code-named Sub-Zero, was killed by the demon Scorpion. Kuai Liang assumed the Sub-Zero mantle and went to Outworld to find his brother's killer.

Okay, we can now confirm that the Sub Zero in the comics is indeed Kuai Liang, but i'm still torn on the identity of the Sub Zero in game, biggest reason being the EYES.
Now i'm not sure if the white revenant eyes are a side effect of long term kamidogu use or what but Kuai Liang, in the comics at this point, still has human eyes as far as i can tell.

Now who knows, i may just be going off of a minor detail, the human eyes may just be artist interpretation and has nothing to do with the in game model but i'm still not going to write off Bi-Han returning as Sub Zero just yet.
