SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

But he was about to cut himself with it again... I don't consider that feeling guilty

He's obviously not himself... I think he means he's feeling guilty that he's being controlled by the daggers and attacking his allies.

He cutting himself again is the dagger making him do it. Do you think forest fox really wanted to cut off his own face?

Well, it is because of the One Being that Shao Kahn went all crazy and started conquering and merging realms. Same happened to Onaga. Now it is possible that it strikes again. Would make sense.

The one being was controlling khan? Source?

can't believe I'd miss such an important detail.

What if Khan comes back and he's not a complete asshole? >.>

I thought it was common knowledge. The One Being manipulates people in an attempt to merge all the realms into one so it can awaken from its slumber. Did I just come up with this in my head?

I just googled and couldn't find any original source yet. But there are some random reddits and forums of people talking about the One Being controlling Onaga/Shao Khan.

If that plays a role it'd be funny if everyone's fighting to bring Shao Khan back because hes the only one that can keep it under control.

EDIT: main pages that talk about Shao khan never mention the One being like Wiki ect.

I'm sorry. I read and understood you. He wasn't talking like he was going to regret, it was like he was completing a ritual. That's not guilty.

All reality are the dreams of the One Being (Source: Mortal Kombat Deception). Almost every evil guy who is pervert for merging the realms suffers his influence.

Shao Kahn is the second most pervert. Onaga is the first, because he knew exactly what to do instead of konquering realm by realm.

If that plays a role it'd be funny if everyone's fighting to bring Shao Khan back because hes the only one that can keep it under control.

He can't control. It's the universe conspiring for him to do something.

Info on the One Being is right here.

Sounds like it hasn't been out right confirmed, but it's heavily hinted at that Onaga and Shao Kahn were under the influence of the One Being.

I guess what I mean is, he contains it. Because if the One Being can control multiple people it should've done so already. what if controlling Onaga/Khan takes up alot of its power to just control one strong piece. But now that it doesn't control Khan, It can control multiple people.

The One Being is the very reality.

In fact, he influences everybody, since everything was created from him, but some are more likely to expose its true nature.

Shao Kahn and Onaga were the most significant.

Onaga wanted to become the One Being itself, according to his ending on MK:D.

How could it be common knowledge when almost all info on the One Being comes from random dialogue with Chaosrealm denizens?

Basically I'm asking If that's the case it influences everyone. Why doesn't it just CONTROL everyone and make EVERYONE want to merge realms. It's power must be limited.

Soooo, were the Kamidogu's retconned into daggers? Was that ever explained?

Makes more sense to me, since six Elder Gods would use Six Daggers to cut the One Being.

Better than those icons (even though the symbols are cool).

Some must have a higher degree of free will. That's a good question.

Yup. So far it's looking like a straight up retcon.
Ok, regarding the one searching for the daggers, the possibilities are:

Shujinko
Daegon
Quan Chi/Shinnok

Daegon seems to be the only one with any relevance so far.

Now. What I feel like NRS + Kittleston are doing is copping out by saying "Not only did Raiden send his visions back in time, he also sent them back in space! So in other words he sent the visions to an alternate universe where similar things happened but with very distinct differences."

Just so they can get away with inconsistencies.

IMO it's Shujinko. "Cunning and guile" sounds like Deception.

I doubt someone would be as fool as Shujinko to fall on that Damashi scheme again. Specially Daegon.

I dunno, but I thought the same thing. Kahn influenced by One Being. It just made sense to me. At least since MK9.
