MKX Story Trailer (CST 8:00 02/27)

Was it me or the guy with yellow garbs and a spear was a human Scorpion? Or was it Takeda before suiting up like Solid Snake? (aShirai Ryu alt)
 
I think the main thing I got from this is they are working hard to get establish Cassie, Takeda, Kung-Jin, and Jaqui as the new generation of MK. Which is fantastic, you can build new fighters while advancing old ones. It makes me twenty times more optimistic about the ability of this series long term.

After the ending of MK9 I was so hyped and excited because having Shinnok coming back, I thought that my favourite characters will be playable in the next game ,and the dark climate that MK4 had will comeback too.I know that it's still to soon to say this but Im almost sure that Reiko,Shinnok,Fujin,Tanya or Havik won't make it as playable characters and that is a massive disappointment after 4 years of waiting.

Reboot Mileena is thousands of years younger than original Mileena. If they were fine with retconning Mileena's origin, I seriously doubt they'll give a crap about Li Mei's age.

That's not proof of anything, mind you. I'm not convinced it's Li Mei. But Asian woman from a village in Outworld... well, we do happen to have one of those around already.

Again, you're basing this off of a 2 minute clip. You're not 'almost sure' of anything, because you know nothing about the game. Just because they're not in a bloody trailer does not mean they're not in the game, my god.
 
At 1;23 in the trailer, when Sindel attacks Cassie, who is the girl attacking Takeda? Doesn't look like anybody I know? I thought it was Kitana but doesn't look like her

Mileena doesn't physically age because she's Edenian, so that proves nothing.

What in the world does that have to do with anything?

In the original timeline, Kitana and Mileena grew up together. In the new one, they did not, because Kitana is thousands of years older than Mileena. NRS flat out retconned Mileena's age. If they can change the age of someone as important in the lore as Mileena, you think Li Mei's age will be sacred to them? Give me a break.
 
i don't care for sub zero's unmasked alt... looks old with the goatee... lol. i think the trailer was great... saw like 8 or 9 characters not yet revealed.. i hope all of them are in the game. especially rain!
