Out of curiosity, why do you bring up Scorpion's quest for vengeance? How do you see that factoring into a battle? We just saw in Kotal vs Goro that being emotionally invested in a fight can give a fighter the motivation to close it out. If Quan Chi tricked Scorpion into thinking Raiden had killed the Shirai Ryu, you think that would make Scorpion weaker?

There's a difference between Kotal and Scorpion. There is almost nothing to Scorpion's character but hatred & his thirst for vengeance, he's extremely one-dimensional. Kotal on the other hand is not. When you're blinded by silly things like hatred & vengeance it can impair you in a variety of ways (decision making for example) because you're not thinking normally. Just my opinion, you don't have to agree.

I enjoy putting people's opinions through the ringer and then seeing if they still agree with their original opinion afterwards.
It's a fun way to find out how people think.The need for vengeance can indeed make one's thinking one-dimensional, and I see how in certain situations that would play to Scorpion's disadvantage.

2)I don't hate you nor I care about u. I don't even know you. You re not the center of the universe
3) I hate special forces too. That doesn't mean i m right. As a matter of fact, these characters bring variety to the roster which is a good thing. If there are more that 4 characters from special forces in the game then I ll start whining a bit. Until now everything is perfect IMO.

6-4: Tough one, but I have to give this one to Goro. I think he's slightly more stronger than him.
9-1: Raiden is a thundergod, and he can easily destroy scorpion.

7-3 Kotal over Goro:
Goro is a beast, but Kotal ran right through an ambush and still whooped Goro.
7-3 Raiden over Scorpion:
MK9 was a lowpoint in the mythos of Scorpion for me. He was so blinded in his quest for vengeance that he acted like a gullible child. 90% of a fight is mental, the other half is physical. Then he was a mere stepping stone for Raiden when the latter traversed the Netherealm. I like the rebirth of Hanzo in the comics, but so far all he has managed to due is get captured and have his entire clan slaughtered by a teenager.

Even though Sonya somehow survived MK9, in which (SP0ILERS) every good guy died (/SP0ILERS), I have never been impressed with her as a kombatant. Now with Kano's cybernetic enhancements, and only experience to go along with Sonya's old age, I think Kano wins pretty convincingly.

6 Kotal Kahn vs 4 Goro - I still think Goro can whoop Kahn's ass too, but in that particular fight from the comics, the oposite happened.
7 Raiden vs 3 Scorpion - Seriously, Raiden can kick almost anyone's ass. I think the only one that he wouldn't is Quan Chi.
8 Sonya vs 2 Kano - As many have stated here, Sonya have kicked Kano's ass on various situations, so, i'll give her this one.

And the movie is not canon... Sonya never broke Kano's neck, heck Kano is still alive after all those freaking years, Sonya appears to be a amature, because in GOTHAM the series they always get the badguy in the same episode as they are introduced.

ALSO with that pathetic attitude its obvious that all the badguys are gonna lose to the goodguys, as in MK9 you could ONLY FREAKING play with the goodguys, so yeah they all win this duals, end of this topic.
