This doesn't really excite me, but sucks for the kids that may not be able to play this now.
The ESRB should be abolished anyway. It's the parent's responsibility to know what their child is playing, and whether they have the mental capacity to differentiate fantasy from reality.

The fact that retail employees are basically forced to guilt trip parents really makes me sick.

The only reason the ESRB was established in the first place is because those same parents were crying to their Congressmen to establish a Nanny State in direct violation of the First Amendment.

I always thought that DC never like having their superheros in R rated media? Isn't that one of the reasons why MKvsDCU was rated T?

It's a bit complicated. My guess is that there will be more mature themes in the story. That could possibly mean realistic drug, alcohol use, cursing or violence. I imagine that Scarecrow is gonna have some really twisted moments in the game that pushed it past the T rating. That's just my guess cause I doubt they'll have nudity.

DC comics had their characters in what would be R rated content for years. In the killing joke, bat girl gets shot in the spine by the joker and is stripped naked so they can take pictures and show them to her dad. They wouldn't allow their characters to go as far as what mortal Kombat does though. Obviously, they would never let scorpion cut superman's face off and have his brains fall out lol you are generally right though. Their superheroes appeal to a lot of kids, so they try to keep their media in the pg13 area for sales purposes.

I know the Batman comics have been very dark for years but comics are not wildly marketed compare to video games and movies though.
