They made ONE very stereotypical alt for him, and now all of a sudden EVERYTHING about Jax is stereotypical? That's called being narrowminded.
I haven't heard any black Americans talking how Jax talks.
So I imagine you must be an American yourself, to speak with such authority on the subject?
How about getting your facts straight before you try to defame, falsely label and accuse people of something they are not?
I'm pretty sure that's borderline flaming.
Born and raised .
That's how you present yourself when talking about this very topic though.
His MKDA alt was, yes, stereotypical. It was inspired by hiphop culture. Every stereotype has its base in reality.
But Jax is more than that as a character. That you choose to bring up that one costume to push your entire statement just shows that you are indeed being narrowminded about this.
I can honestly say that I am surprised. I've traveled all over the States and I've heard talk that makes Jax sound tame by comparison in LA, Vegas, NY, Chicago, DC, Baltimore, and any number of places in between. I can't account for your experience which seems to me absolutely singular.
MK9 Jax is also based off of hiphop culture by the way that he talks.
It's also a stereotype, you're just turning a blind eye to it.
"Ya got me. Not sure anybody could do what he did. Made Shang Tsung look like a chump."
"Damn, you ugly."
"How you like that, Mr A-List?"
"Gonna have to ask nicer than that!"
"Hell no! I've never done this before! Not like there's a manual."
"Ya know me, I'm a class act."
^^
A lot of that is NOT proper English, but go ahead and say that I'm narowminded.
You focus on some very superficial things here.

That's right, because I've never ever traveled anywhere else in the U.S. / sarcasm :marchmellow:
As if I'm the only 1 who talks about things that are considered "superficial?"
People talk all the time on these threads about big tits, asses hanging out, too much clothes, slutty attire, male characters looking like they're on steroids and other such superficial things, yet I'M the one who's superficial? Ok.
Apparently I'm the only 1 who discuses things that are considered to be "superficial" by others.
You're reaching so hard, mate, its ridiculous. I'd say half of those things exactly how he did and I'm not black, not into hip hop, and not even from the South.
I never said anything about you. I said that I have traveled and heard black people speak "improper English" EVERYWHERE. I don't know what to make of your ecperience.
Ah, so because others do it, it is alright for you to do it as well...
Really?
You speak improper English, like that?
As if you yourself have never spoken about superficial things on these threads?

Maybe you should look in the mirror once in a while before you point a finger at someone.
I'm wondering why you call Jax stereotypical when there's alot of other characters who, according to your logic, is as well.
Sonya is a mannish military chick. That's a stereotype.
Johnny is an airhead celebrity. That's a stereotype.
Liu Kang is an Asian kung fu Bruce Lee wannabe. That's a stereotype.
Yet I don't see you calling them such... but you do so about Jax as the main black guy. Yeah, you might not try to be, but it does make you appear somewhat racist of mind. It's not only you though, ALOT of people on here do exactly the same thing.
I very much have called those characters out before and have even stated the whole MK= Big Trouble in Little China references too.
Just because you may have skipped over said posts in threads past, doesn't mean that I haven't called those out.
I've specifically even said that casuals and non-MK fans usually refer to the big 4 of MK as: yellow ninja, blue ninja, the Asian guy with the hat that uses electricity and the Bruce Lee character.
If you have chosen to ignore my posts calling out those stereotypes in the past, then that's YOUR fault for ignoring my previous posts, NOT mine.
Stop falsely accusing me of something that I am not and trying to flame-bait, otherwise you will be reported for flaming.
Well, this just confirms what I said then.
This doesn't confirm anything.
You flat-out called me a racist and narrowminded, and in all honesty, you should have been reported for it.
