When I buy a game, the entire thing is MINE and I can do whatever I want with it, and anyone who doesn't like that fact can eat shit. You are either with the consumer, or you are against the consumer.

The only thing that's yours is what you buy. If you buy the game, whatever is on the disc is yours. All other stuff isn't yours though.

AC: Unity was burned alive because of it, i mean not just because of it but that was one of the many reasons, if ppl working on MKX do this then i am really seeing media talking shit about it and lowering their scores, which doesn't really bother me.

I know how u feel, unfortunately this has become the norm, its the most efficient way for them to do business.
remember all the hack they did for mk9 and found all those fatalities, skarlet, and classic costumes.
iy was all there then they try to pass it off as dlc.

I thought u guys were ok with this, buying the kollector edition gives u access to it first but its all on-disc locked content. it is a shady business, when companies know they have a product that is gonna sell like hot cake best believe they're gonna milk it till its dry. we shouldn't be so cynical though , they did say it was due to the netcode , they wanted the online to run smooth lol.

Must be real money to some degree. It's either both or the former, never just the latter.
 
Microtransations are simply the ability to spend money if you wish to speed up the process of whatever it is you're trying to do or provide other bonuses. Usually, there's a way to complete any necessary tasks without spending a dime. It's not the easiest way to complete the game without spending, like in the event of needing to spend the hours to build up Koins (how we've always done things) to unlock things in the Krypt or paying $4.99 for 1000 Koins right off the bat.

It's generally harmless, and if you don't buy then there's no issue. It's usually then just a "wah, people get things before I do so I'm mad" type behavior from people.

The only problem with MTs are when they physically impede the process of playing a game otherwise. If you're essentially strong-armed into spending money over just playing the game, then it's an issue.

DLC is a different animal entirely, whether it's on-disc or post-launch content.
