I know im the only Frost fan here but I really hope they are planning on doing something with her. I would love if this becomes some kind of redemption/reboot for the character.

I totally understand peoples complaints that shes just a Sub Zero clone, but she doesnt have to be. I would love if they totally changed her character and made her a rush down, MMA type fighter like her character in the comic. Even if she does have ice moves, make them completely different from Sub Zero.

Although, Im thinking that she is simply being taken back to Special Forces headquarters to be tortured/interrogated by Sonya and the others for information

I wouldn't mind frost being in the game ..she can be made totally different t than subzero .why not add her in .Devs can get really creative .

Give her snow powers perhaps, I'd be ok with that.

Snowballs sound silly but you can do something with that, if you combine snow and frost wind you can come up with a pretty good and unique movelist.
 
I don't mind Frost as long as she shares zero moves with Zero and has a different look (like not wearing blue, for starters).

Ermac and Kenshi are both telekinetics in MK9, but they don't share a single special move and they have wildly different aesthetics (masked ninja/green energy, swordsman/blue energy); THAT'S how it's done. No reason for Frost to be blue, or wear a mask, for that matter. She's not in the Lin Kuei anymore.

here it is I found the video that she does the (Shadow Kick) which I think
this is the only video that has it. go to like that half way mark and she performs it when she has d'evorah on the right corner.

Yeah, where in that video is the shadow kick? I've seen a still image of Cassie doing a shadow kick before (in fact, ujustgotcaged posted it, but he seems to have misplaced his memory of it), but I've never been able to find the pic again, or locate the video it's from, so I've never been able to use it as evidence of Cassie having way too many Johnny moves.

I'm gonna make a thread on this whole Cage family thing tomorrow, because I don't like seeing this topic always pop up in threads that have nothing to do with it.
 
She does have the Shadow Kick, I remember spader's clone posting a screenshot of it, but I think it's just a string ender and not a stand alone special.

I thought it was our resident Johnny Cage fanatic who posted it (I remember him worrying over it, though), but I do remember seeing this screenshot.

nah I want her to be in too and I think they're gonna give her a chance. the thing is that she can have ice powers but they dont need to give her ice freezing powes, she can have a variation where she has ice shards sticking out of her forearms and shins
to slice and dice, and give her some sick spinning moves, she can shoot icicles out from her feet, diagonally as anti air move or straight ahead. she can put her hands on the ground controlling the surface and make spikes pop up.

yeah she can be the white ninja, I think it suits her and it still symbolizes ice.

Wouldn't bother me if Cage or Sonya didn't make it. Maybe id be singing a different tune if he was my fav :p

Erron tho that's a interesting theory, it holds some weight but it's reaching.
 
I wonder what Jaxy could inherit from her dad if she is playable. The Sonic Wave and Ground Pound were moves he had before he even got the metallic arms. Maybe she could get some of that strength. If she's the powerhouse I'm hoping for, while being archetype I love, Sektor's getting replaced as top dog favorite character.


Speaking of which, if the comic takes place during the 15 year time period, then maybe it is possible that Sektor makes it into the game. Even if he dies by Sub-Zero's hand, he could still show up early on and be at least a minor villain (even though he was a major player in the last game). Wishful thinking no doubt, but I am the Crimson Messiah's top representative.
