I think both Sub-Zeroes are playable within 1 character, because I'm hearing dialogues that make sense for both brothers.

The one about Ermac lacking a 'heart' sounds like something a good guy would say, NOT Bi-Han, so that's Kuai Liang speaking.

The one about "your soul is corrupted" sounds like it's spoken towards Bi-Han.

So I think this Sub-Zero is BOTH Sub-Zeroes and I think that will be reflected by having a Kuai Liang alt (or primary, if we've been seeing the alt this whole time).

it looks silly and un-natural. especially when he jumps from it. the way he tilts at an angle as he moves left and right looks weird also.
the movement from left to right is like some cheap ghost it dosent look right at all

the floating looks fine on his spectral variation when he stays in the air higher up it works as it serves a purpose and looked really cool. but when hes just standing and hovering it looks stupid and serves no purpose hes just floating for the sake of floating coz hes ermac.

its a classic case of over doing a characters trait.
the floating is not needed for the whole duration and works better just used during moves

So to he honest, I'm not feeling Ermac's design in this one. The move set looks fine, but I kinda agree with the floating. It does suit his character, but I think it's the animation itself that just seems off to me. Even though he's a character that uses telekinesis, I don't like how skinny they made him. It looks like he has no muscle tone at all compared to the last game where he was a beast. I also don't like that his face isn't fully covered. I just prefer Ermac's face to be a mystery because he's such a mysterious character. Just my thoughts, but I am glad to see him in.

Personal preference mostly, but I also think it makes sense.

- All the way back in some of the first Marvel games, Magneto was floating around. Why did he do that? Because he can! It is a display of power, to appear more intimidating and to show the opponent, that they have powers beyond human comprehension. The same reason why Ermac should float, because he can!
- Though it doesn't matter in a fighting game, as it would be OP, but story-wise it would give him the benefit of movement. He doesn't touch the ground, so anything that happens to the ground doesn't affect him. Again, gameplay wise it doesn't matter, but logically, it does. I see no reason for Ermac to walk around on the ground in a fight, when he obviously would get the upper hand in a battle for not doing so.
- And the personal preference; I simply think it looks cool! In X-Men: Next Dimension, characters like Storm and Phoenix were floating, again, because they can. Phoenix didn't float in Marvel vS Capcom 3 though, which I thought was plain silly - but she could jump up and fly around though. If a character has the ability to do it, I think he/she should, for the reasons I've stated here. I was hoping if Ermac returned he would do so, after having seen NRS doing so to some Injustice characters. And should Fujin and Sindel return, I hope they do as well.

It is fair enough that you and others don't like it. Again, it's a personal preference, and I will not judge you or anyone else for not liking it. I'm glad you guys took the time to tell me why though. ^^
 
I was honestly nervous about Ermac hovering at first. It really slowed down characters in Injustice in my opinion. But when I saw the gameplay on the stream, I instantly knew that Ermac is gonna be a beast in this game.

In this case, pretty much all of them work.

On another note, I am now dying to play this game thanks to that stream. Man, Sunday's comic can't come fast enough for me to get my story fix.

imo the entire NRS team should be fired, include ed boon , jhon vogel and steve beran. But even worse it´s reveals that their ideas are going to be each time so ´fn less. Now tancharoen is a productive artist on mk?
i feel shame, i don´t forgive nothing since mk vs dc until present except some minor things, is vomitive. Remember you will play an unreal engine 3 compilation and then they shall steal with stupid dlc for nothing.

Well, no one is preventing you to go back and play the older games, if those are the ones you prefer. However, you're most likely just here to troll and talk trash... at least that's the impression I get from all the posts I've seen from you. :/

Where is the troll? no, its my pure opinion, the actual "legacy" of mk is ruined.......

Not only mods are allowed to make suggestions. However, they can remove you if you don't follow their suggestions.
But as I said, all I've seen you post is acid hatred. No, I am definately not one of those who praise everything Boon touches. Scorpion is one of my most disliked characters. However, I do believe that you can have a negative opinion and share it, without being a complete disrespectful a-hole about it. And those who prefer to be like that, yes, I usually suspect it is because they enjoy watching others react to it... aka, a troll.

There's nothing wrong with not liking something, and it is completely alright to share you opinion on a forum, so we can discuss it. But you can do that without being a dick.

what they may be talking about?

After watching again, something on my head thought that Kung Lao could be hinting that to SHAO KAHN inside Ermac.

But the answer was nothing close to that...

confusing dialogue. Just the story may solve this.

He was just asking if Ermac had the capacity to remember, so he could do the "then you'll remember this beating I'm about to give you!" punchline. It wasn't a story hint.
