Aztec culture and Apache culture are two completely different beasts. Kotal is far from a rip-off of Nightwolf, direct or indirect. If they put in Nightwolf instead of Kotal, we'd have someone with a completely different moveset, background, story role, etc; there's, like, hardly anything the two have in common. And going from Salazar's description in the casting call, he's far from a Nightwolf clone, too.

If MK has room for a bunch of Shaolin monks, a bunch of ninjas, etc. then I think it can have room for multiple guys based off of completely different cultures. And multiple guys with bows.

How does being an Aztec native rip off an American native? That's like saying Tanya, Kitana, Jade and Sindel are all ripping each other off for being Edenians.
 
I really hope is my girl Mileena but it might be somebody we all suspect like Kenshi.

im sticking to my theory that they wont introduce a brand new kharacter untill we get the game in our hands.

Tyler Lansdown described the stream reveal as going to cause a "hype-splosion", so I think that'll be the returning character. Really hoping for a brand new character on Tuesday...!

Hmmmm. My guesses would be Liu Kang, Reptile, or maybe Ermac.

I don't know who else could create a "hype-splosion", besides maybe a new character?
