She does have chola brows. Kinda disappointing- they really did a nice job with her face, it's feminine and not so square. Remember unmasked Kitana in MK9? What the f***. But this Kitana has a nice face, and I love the blue makeup they gave her. It would really top it off if when she unmasks herself she has some thick Latin DSLs... imagine the Kiss of Death? Homie thinking he's about to get the blowjob of his life but she makes him explode! But they should have gone for thicker eyebrows for Kitana, like Kardashian eyebrows.

Someone mentioned Kitana's shoes... I must admit her overall suit is awesome, but the boots part, I don't like it... The high heels make the female body more stylized, so I think the outfit lacks'em.... However
Kitana's apparition is really really fair... I mean, in every new game, Kitana was automatically displaced by new characters: MK1, she didn't even make it for Sonya's inclusion, MK4 for Tanya, Deception for Jade.... and as someone said before, Kitty is Mk's Chun Li. Look at how SFV was revealed: Ryu and Chun Li, Kitty is a must in every game, like scorps or subz.... So, If someone is expecting Jade or Sindel, sorry, but that won't happen... Mileena follows the same pattern, but in the comic, we saw a new outfit for her, so I think she will be in... The one who will shine this time will be Tanya, who was one of the most desired chars to be included on MK9 and didn't achieved it....
So, my predictions are: Mily, Tanya and maybe Li Mei for the females

I think they got rid of the high heels for realism's sake. they caught a lot of flak for their female character designs pretty much all around during MK9. I remember a big gripe being that it would be ridiculous to fight in the heels that the women were wearing. I'd imagine that her boot was changed to reflect a more serious character. I really really like Kitana's overall design. Much better than Kung Lao, who isn't all that bad tbh.

Agree 100%.I think out of most people that died (definitely from the females) Kitana was most likely to come back. She's almost a staple like Sonya. It's a shame because Sindel was my main in MK 9, but I think she served her purpose this time around and will be left dead. I also see no reason for Jade to return because we have Kitana. I also think Tanya will make her return this game. She seems to be highly in demand, and a lot of people wanted her in MK 9 as DLC. I could imagine Tanya returning and Kitana being her main enemy this time around because there's no Sindel or Jade.
I'm in two minds about Mileena. The sisterly rivalry could continue, but at the same time we've had Kitana in Deadly Alliance and Mileena in Deception, so perhaps Mileena might sit out of MK X.
I'd also love for Li Mei to return, but at the same time knowing how prominent the Netherealm will be in this game, I'm kinda hoping Sareena might make the roster. It would be nice to finally get hold of her. Armageddon seemed a bit rushed for me. I'd love to see her fatalities etc.

I think Jade and Sindel may appear as revenants, but once they are ressurrected after victory on Netherrealm War (which will probally grant them freedom of mind and soul), I don't think they will be as important as Kitana to the witness of the new generation and the new threat.

This. I wish the pants were tighter and didn't hang out over the boots. And I wish the boots were a darker color with more blue. Everything else is perfect though. Her make-up is on point, her hair is different and fresh, and her armor is great!

I haven't thought of that, and i have to agree, maybe sareena's chances are bigger than li mei's... well I'm sure at least one post mk4 girl will make it in, however I think khameleon chances are the lowest followed by kira and ashrah....

Since the first time I saw Kitty´s render I realized there was something bad with their eyes.... and I never liked that render.... so, I decided to make a few arrangements in Photoshop... Hope you like´em... I upload a pic where you can see the change and the problem, and the edited render too....
Pd: However it´s great, the only thing lacking is her render, not her model... (shame for Cassie, whose render is awesome but her model.....)

That's a pretty edit, but I don't notice much of a difference honestly. Looks like she just went into the dressing room and put on a bit of eyeliner and some contacts.
I have been promoing Kitana's trailer on my Vine, Twitter, IG, and Facebook and already 4 of my female friends told me they are preordering it,
And one of them actually did, with proof that she did. Ha.

Awesome news, I'm dying to see what they are doing with Tanya considering how beautiful they made kitty, do you remember that leak visit which mentioned there was a character who breaks the neck of her opponent strongly hinting Tanya? I bet she will be revealed soon!
Oh and talking about the edit, i don't know but on perspective, her left eye must be a little bigger than the other, and the position is really high, that's what's been bothering me and what i corrected...

Did you know that the voice actor that voiced Tanya was put in the files for the game as 'Tanya' voice actor back 6 months ago.. Wonder if that's true or not.
I hope she's revealed so so soon.. I'm worried with the 24-26 character slots that there is, that she's one of them.
About the edit, I do notice the eye now. It's actually a pretty big difference not to notice it, Lol. Good work. I like it.

I don't care for the armor. I'm not usually bothered by boobplates and the like, but the way it's designed with the rest of getup makes the design distracting, and not in a good way.

This new design is REALLY growing on me, I love it. Not exactly what you'd expect NRS to put her in but it's awesome and refreshing, something new and wild for an old mainstay like Kitana. Obviously the designers culled heavily from Persian and Indian aesthetics for the new Kitana, mixed with ancient Oriental influences.
^However, I think this would make an excellent alt for Kitana. A more traditional design along the lines of her MK2/MK3 look, but unmasked.

That would be a great alt. I wish I could see that in action. Love the cultural design on the upper body clothing and leaving the sheer beauty of the fan from it's original glory.
