Yeah, in the arcade era we had the pallete swap ninjas. Arguably, Scorpion is only ninja at this point. I don't see Ermac or Reptile as ninjas. Either way, each of the 'ninja' have their own identity and stand out from one another.

Anyways, that's besides the point. I could careless for two Sonya's.

Kano has had the chest laser thing for a long time now. He even had it in MK9 yet some of you only notice it now since it's bigger?

Kano has had the Bandoleer SINCE MK1 and YES it HAS & HAS NOT had the Red piece attached to it.

The only time Kano has not had the Bandoleer was in his MKDA Primary attire

I will admit i always wondered its function or was it purely Aesthetic?!
 
[MENTION=4765]jdnice11[/MENTION] Maybe it's his artificial heart and requires him to steal the hearts of others to power it. haha. or maybe his was ripped out of his chest and that forces him to use the artifical heart, and then feels the need to remove other people's hearts just how his was removed.

I do think Kano will be the only character shown off at Gamescom. Gamescom 2012 only show off one character for Injustice and I think the same will happen with MKX. I think we will be shown one character a month now to create build up. I think they don't want to show off so much in order to keep things under wrap and a surprise.
 
I really wish they would tease other characters in the end of each reveal, to build more hype for the roster, and to expose characters who end up in the game that we don't see or hear about until the game releases.
 
Kano looks OK. A bit basic for my taste. Maybe it's the colors. Tattoos I don't need. But if he's really lacking nipples... WTF? He's human, right? That would be dumb. But I'm sure he's a work in progress.

As for him personally... I never really liked him. He's on my "annoying list". But I won't mind if he'll be in. As long as he does something important in Story Mode.

And yeah, I'm totally expecting a Kano and jungle stage reveal at Gamescom. Absolutely. However, to tell you the truth, I was hoping for a female this time around. If they don't reveal a female character by October, I'll start to think NRS turned homo.
 
The game has three female characters so far (Ferra, D'Vorah and Cassie Cage). I think if we get another female character then it could be Tanya, Mileena or Kitana. I would love to have Sareena, but I kinda doubt she will be back other then a cameo in the story mode.
 
I have funny feeling that maybe Kano was suppose to be leaked so we can be concentrate on this speculation. And then at Gamescom he would be revealed along with another character and other information.
Hopefully we get his variation styles and their explanation to his new look

I bet she'll be in and be considered to be one of the newer characters in the roster. I mean, why would they even add her in MKA when they could've added Tremor, Tasia, Kia, Jataaka, and/or etc.
