Is Ed Boon sure he's doing the right thing?

Damn is liu kang really that hated

He is one of the few characters I found interesting story wise (maybe it was the fact that he filled the main hero vibe which always drew me in)

Anyways he is one of the characters I would like to see come back mostly because of the potential to make him a darker character

And on topic even though it has already been said I don't mind this approach but I wont lie I was a little skepticle at first with the new characters (really more thrown off by how different they felt) but after thinking it over it why the hell not I know there is a good chance that not all my favorites will return but imo that's a small price to pay in moving forward with the series just as long as the gamplay is fun as hell
 
The other problem with kang started in mk3. Do not forget that at in mk3, Ho sung pack is no more, and here we can see that Eddie Wong is doing the remplacement. But Suddenly is here in mk3 that kang is going to be hated, cause "boon" has made more parodic/ridicule to him.

Now i have remember that Jhon tobias mentioned during one interview via video-chat that him wanted 5th mk to be next generation tournament and that there would be son of liu kang and kitana as protagonist, but not liu kang himself because happens 1 generation later
so more or less him wanted the timeskip game that MKX seems to be.
Also Jhon Tobias never wanted that one characcter focus the protagonism in a onlyone character, like boon is doing at mk9.
For any reason, we see more serious the liu kang composed By Joshua Tsui than eddie wong, cause is clearly the influence of Jhon Tobias at mk4.

Although he does make some good points on the rare occasion, you are asking for this if you try reasoning with him, the best course of action is to ignore.

Imo, liu kang should be more respected, cause at mk1 and mk2 him won it too in mk4.
I mean, i dont think like tarkatan trash, and again i say, mk3 fvcked up the things and no matter if him is based on bruce lee or not,
Is not enought excuse for consider kang as bad character.
Seem that for you dudes, kang is at the same range of mokap and other truly stupid character like kobra. is Funny really cause nobody mention to kobra that is insipired in ken from SF franchise. what is better, a char based on bruce lee or in ken masters? common sense, thanks to god that ed boon never has washed my brain.
Also you forgot the oriental influences,

In what shit is based scorpion? in a mixed ninja with ghots raider, so makes thinks to me that the fanatism by boon on scorpion, is very overrated.
