I didn't like it because to me, it didn't feel like it was really MK. It felt like a cheap knockoff or a joke. MKDA wasn't that sluggish. Of course, it had minor hiccups every now and then, but it was (and still is) a pretty good game even if it does contain one of the worst kharacters in MK history (Hsu Hao).MK vs DC had the best gameplay of any Mortal Kombat fighter prior to 9.
It was deeper than the 2d games and wasn't sluggish like the 3d ones.
Ask yourself, what would Baraka really do to Catwoman? He'd slice her into freakin' pieces. It never really feels MK without gore. That's what makes MK unique among fighters. Without it, MK becomes Street Fighter-like, and that's bad.I'm fine without the brutal fatalities. Some of vsDC's fatalities are better than MK9's.
I've always been a fan of subtlety
Crossups are a huge part of 2d fighters though.
Traditional MK, hands down. I like the gameplay system MK has. Injustice was just "meh".I wonder what kind of gameplay MK vs DC 2 would have.
3 button back to block Injustice style or traditional MK?
Injustice held my attention a lot better than MK did. And I'm a lifelong MK fan.
It's deeper and the moves feel like they have impact.
Quite the opposite for me. I just can't get into Injustice like I can with MK.Injustice held my attention a lot better than MK did. And I'm a lifelong MK fan. It's deeper and the moves feel like they have impact.
I always thought it was UMK3, since it was more balanced and quicker paced than both of those.
