The Original Starters return for 'Pokemon X' & 'Y'

A lot of the designs are garbage and you're too bent up on being different to see it.
the overcomplicated designs are beyond terrible and they really need to stop with all of the humanoid pokes.

No. A good number of the designs from some of the later gens were just straight up retarded, some were sort of bad, and there were a couple good ones. But the ones shown so far are pretty decent. But like I said... if you haven't enjoyed Pokemon in 13 years since Gold and Silver, or 15 years since Red and Blue, you should just give up and let it go.

I think he's just complaining about human-like pokemon in the later gens and the over complicated ones like Black/White Kyurem

Pyroar does look pretty badass. Talonflame, Noivern, and Yveltal all look baller as fck also. The only really stupid design out of these ones is Bunnelby. I think Clauncher will evolve into something really badass. I'm thinking about "going dark" with Pokemon X and Y. Not really looking up many of the Pokemon. Not looking up evolutions and everything on the internet. Just discovering everything on my own, like back in the old days. Internet spoils some things.

They are not dumb because these are original and cool. And you had Machamp Hitmons and Jynx so STFU. BTW mega evos are for the game to be more hard and more thinking in it and fairy is a great type. And Nornivern has ears like that for a move called boom brust.

The cat was Persian. But yeah, good points otherwise. Pidgey and it's evolutions, Spearow and Fearow. Ekans is a snake. Geodude is a fcking rock with arms. Not to mention Tauros.

Gen1 isn't as creative as people think. It's just special to them because it was most likely their first experience with Pokemon and it's nostalgic to them. Same for me, but I'm open to new stuff.

1: Squitle is just a blue turtle

2. Wanna know what Pidgey is..... A bird no really there is no monster here.

3. Rattata is just a rat.. BUT LETS MAKE HIM PURPLE! Yeah right ninja.

4. Ekans is Snake backwards and he is just a purple snake end of story

5. Arbok is Kobra spelled backwards and its the thing its baby from is.

6. Sandshrew is just a Armadillo.

7. Geodude is just a rock with arms,eyes,and a mouth.

8. Gastly wanna know what it is.... Gas......... *facepalm*

9. Exeggcute is eggs.... Because a pair of eggs make a pokemon right?

10. Koffing and Weezing.... Koffing is just a nasty gross purple rock....

I find it odd how people call 1st generation the bast but when your eyes open its the wrost because they don't look like monsters just boringness

I know newer gens have dumb pokes but at less they have designs then just lazyness.
 
Sometimes less is more. I can appreciate the simple designs of the first 2 gens. They got more complicated with 3rd gen, they were running out of real life animals. 4th gen was pretty meh and had horrible starters. 5th gen has Krookodile, so they get a pass for the whack horseshit known as Zoroark.


6th has some nice ones. I'm digging the water starter and that Clawncher dude is pretty sick.

My main beef isn't necessarily with the pokemon though, it's the way the game looks. I hate how I have to play as a man purse toting neckbeard just because that's what most pokemon fans look like. I know X & Y will have customization, and I can only hope they have OG Red clothes, but I still hate the grainy 3d graphics. 2d Sprites or bust

Anyways I still want to see a tasmanian devil, a griffin/gryphon, Honoguma and Ultra Mega Chicken.

4th gen starter final evolutions are okay appearance wise. Actually all the second evolutions look cooler than the finals to me. Worst final evolution look wise was Empoleon, Serperior, Emboar and the Oshawatt final that trolled the heck out of me. I was hoping for Water/Fighting evo or a water steel type otter that uses a shell armor.

Latest trainers look lame(guys). Plus I want to black especially since 5th gen was in Unova(America).
