Mortal Kombat HD Remix with MUGEN

hey interloko, I'm re-rendering and fixing some sprites, today at 4:00 you can check in dropbox for al the new sprites...
I really want to see a video with liu soon..
 
@Interloko

I see you have Kano's portrait on there, does that mean that you have some of Kano's sprites programmed?
Also, did you do any programming for Shang Tsung with the new sprites?

That's my fault about Shang. I can put them up on dropbox but the problem is that I don't have a clue how to make them into sprite files. Maybe if I hand them off to Arq, he can do them now that he's worked out batch processing. I'm also going to be needing the first frame of Cage standing animation in PNG form..and the first frame Liu standing animation in PNG form so that I can start doing the morphs.

@uKER Any luck with the Liu Kang statue? I'd like to incorporate it into the stage.

I've uploaded a Cage sprite for morph in Shang/morph
Arq is re-rendering Liu sprites, so we have to wait for them

It's by no means final, so I'm looking forward to your feedback.

For one, I think I should make the feet a big bigger, or at least taller, and reshape the left side of the chest a bit.

I lightened the pants and altered the lighting in the face a bit (wasn't sure about touching the shoes)
I also corrected the shape of his chest and shoes and also lowered his eyes and enlarged his chin a bit.

Due to the increase in lightness, the pants look kind of flat now.
Will try to fix that some time soon.

This looks pretty good to me. When you are satisfied with it, post just the original .png with transparency so that I can drop it into the background. Thanks for your hard work uKER, I'll add in all the cracks at the end.
 
I'll be adding Liu sprites today.
About the statues I think we need to make a comparition, last time I've seen Raiden's statue diferent (colours) than others, not sure about Liu Kang

This is AWESOME. I wish you could work on MK10...or at least MK11. Seriously, you deserve the job. Did you try to send your portfolio to Boon?
 
It's definetely bad idea before MK HD Remake will be released.
Anyways I believe Bleed already have good work place.
