Mortal Kombat HD Remix with MUGEN

Lots going on for me and it looks like it may be the same for a few of us at the moment. I'm just now signing papers and everything for my divorce and work is rough lately but I'm still around and will hopefully gather time to check some tasks off the list here. Keep up the good work guys.

almost forgot... COMPLETE NEW HAIR AND LIGHTING

Thanks cal, yes I've been busy learning about hair and cloth dynamics, what do think about them? Do you like it? Any advice

Arq, I couldn't do any better myself. The cloth dynamics look fantastic. The hair dynamics look good but might need to be tweaked. Not sure yet. The default settings for hair dynamics make it look the person is floating in space or underwater. I could be wrong since I haven't seen enough animation with it yet. Overall, fantastic work. Have you create morph targets for various facial expressions yet?

I was just about to upload a hair close up and I found this message LOL:). About the face morph, Yes I did one a while ago... the select screen face, I haven't try it in 3dmax, but now I feel the cloth and hair looks good so I'll move on with face morphs.

This place has slowed right down again. I might be wrong but it would seem ever since that Kano model was made with realism, that it's raised the bar really high. Therefore, there is a lot of time getting the Cage and Kang models to look "perfect" and perfect seems to take too long.
I mean it would seem you guys are trying to get every single hair and every single part of the bodies to move with realism and perfection.

While the work you're doing is looking good, I'm just concerned that the amount of time working on tedious details will kill the motivation of this project and the creators. I know how it feels working on the same character for too long, after a while you don't even want to do it.

I say all this because there have been barely any posts on here in the past 2 weeks even from the usual people that just come on to for encouragement.

I hope this isn't a sign of this project reaching it's end.

Getting it to look as good as we can does take time, and trying to stay on par with everybody else's work is a challenge.

That contributes to slowdown, also problems and work get in the way a lot.

I was going to start animating Cage like a week ago, but the Skinning got messed up and I had to start that over. I'm also working two jobs and I'm working 7 days a week, so time is limited.

MK is not the only thing I want to be working on, so it's just hard to fit all that in and keep up the pace.

I don't feel like stopping any time soon, but I can't go really fast either.

Good night ttas, you right, this forum is kind of slow at this moment and is also true that Kano kind of raised the bar as you said but remember just the face and skin was done, his outfit was not completed as well as the rigging, skinning, morph targets, he was bold, so it's so ease to finish a character when is just export from zbrush and just texture it, bleed and I are passing through the hardest process of character production, updates are kind of slow but we are doing our best to get the wheel rollin, if we were just sculpting it would be easier

estou louco para ver o projeto finalizado, galera vcs vaõ fazer a alegria de muitos fãns de mk1,relembrar os velhos tempos dos fliperamas!
