I see you have the ice in there but I'm not sure it is the latest one. I've broken to down projectiles in the following way now:

Birth-->Projectile-->Hitspark
 
Interloko has the stages in his build, I don't have any of them.

Sorry Justin, it's excellent but I couldn't wait, it was like 3AM before I gave up. I wonder how late you were up on this! Thanks for making it, I'll use this one later for another update.

It's just too bad there's no 32-bit\ Anti-aliasing for the sprites.. most of the sprites look OK without it but that skeleton could sure use it.

there are 32 bit support. the main reasson characters use 8 bits sprites is because of palettes, the skeleton sprites can use 32 bits.
 
Dammit, slaps forehead...

Bleed after you fix the skeleton. Will you move on to Scorp/Sub being decapped? Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is the possibility that both Scorp and Sub can be 100% completed by end of this year.

To complete that you'd need to:

-Finish Johnny Cage's head and render out Scorps body for the pose for MrMos3s to do "Scorpion Ending Screen 2"

-Do Scorps Intro FMV animation recreation

-Do Subs Intro FMV animation recreation

-Do Sub/Scorp decapitation body only animation

-Do Sub/Scorp Spin rip animation(actual head)

-Do Sub/Scorp Head Decap Roll Animation


If you can accomplish all that before the New Year, I think we will be in pretty good shape with this project. For me:

-I'm going to draw blood sprites

-Export/Render all projectiles to .png to be game ready

-Add Subs Stance to Shang's morph

-Export all background animation (flames, monks, shang clapping, head turning, gleaming Vs. Screen medal .etc,.etc)


Can we do it?
 
In the video, I noticed Sub-Zero switching to Scorpion's stance a lot. That's something that can be pretty easily fixed though, right?
 
It's because I've only made a few animations for Sub Zero, more of them still need to be replaced.


I think I can finish Scorpion this year
 
great job guys, can't wait to play it in my pc, sorry for being so slow, the problem is my wife is pregnant and she's about to give birth our first baby so we are so busy going to the doctor and doing all kind of things for the baby so, soon I'll post the new Liu Kang.

I know is kind of early to say this but this gameplay is looking better than MK9, just change the background and perfect. good job, good job congrats, Next character I wanna see burning is liu kang hahahaha
 
in the video.. is this the other project that you are also working on bleed? or.. is this
a quick mokup using your existing mugen resources to show progress? If this is your
"other" project.. why couldn't this be MKHD1.5? already it has extra effects, like the
fire on scorpion teleport punch on startup.
 
Haha! I'm glad everyone likes the Pit track. I'm surprised it turned out the way it did, which is, I think, why it took a bit for be to get used to it. But yeah, thanks guys!

@Bleed, yeah sorry it took so long getting that extended version up. It was a little while before I could get the MP3 back to an internet connection.

@DFGHTENNIS, I'm glad you like the Continue theme. I think it's definitely one of the better ones. And I imagine the Character Select will get yet another pass or two before all is said and done.

Ya know, Bleed, have you thought of giving your engine a little re-skin with the MKHD assets? It would be really great to see all the hard work everyone has completed in motion, just while we are waiting on interloko. Just a thought.

Thanks cal, I can't describe how I feel, I also wrote a song for him cause I play guitar and a play it every night, hope he recognize me or my voice, back to liu, I got it in max already and I have clean uvs now, but I will have to add detail to this new mesh but it won't take so long, bleed I got my uvs, but the island are like milimeters smaller and when I apply it in max you can see black lines between where island meet, is there an easy way to fix it? Cause I can like grow the selection in photoshop but it takes some time to do it
 
Sure, when you export a file with UVs out of Zbrush, you need the merge UV option enabled. If not, every polygon will be separated in the UV editor.

You will find this in the Tool menu, in the Export tab.

the button "Mrg" will weld the UVs on export.

That is so awesome. He will totally recognize it. After 4 months in the womb they can hear pretty clearly. The best part is that you can use it once he is born for him to fall asleep to. I sang the "ABC's" to my son when my wife was 5 months pregnant, pretty much every night before bedtime. The day he was born I sang it to him again. Having just taken his first breaths he picked his head up from his mother's arms and opened his eyes to see what I look like. It marks one of those happy moments in my life which I'll never forget. It's even better that you have written a personal song for him. Congrats again!

bleed, you got to put a pause in the timing on scorpions fatal man, even if it is just when he takes his mask off...

yeah the original game was "x' frames per second, but didn't you say your game was fatser anyway? so that makes the original timing faster also because you have your overall timing set faster.. get what i am saying?

yeah i understand that you guys want to stick with originality, but if that was the case, then the sprites would be original too, not new or not had, if your gonna go all the way to create somthing new, then it would be obvious that you also take every aspect of the game and make it better also, this includes slightly changing fatals, even if it's just the timing to make the game better...

you have all of these resources, and time, why not use them and produce the best possible game you can?

the fire isn't realistic, and the timing is wayy to fast bro...

you can do it bleed, i know you da man.... a few timing changes and some realistic fire is not really hurting anything, only making the original better.. and isn't that what you guys are trying to do?

yeah original stuff is ok, but if it was what everyone wanted, then we wouldn't be here talking mugen remakes now would we?
